Rally’s hit in the 90’s & until abt 2010 The Big Buford was delicious w their fries. After my college classes I would get the mild wings it was 5 for $5. Their ice cream was really good too they had chocolate and swirl $1 cones my kids loved them a few years ago and the lil chicken bites w fries $1 so good

the double versions of everything is prepared differently. "Spicy Chicken Double" is completely different from just regular single "spicy chicken sandwich". Same goes for the "fish sandwich" vs their "Deep Sea Double"

I grew up on Rallys. The fries were ridiculously good. I would always just get Spicy Chicken Sandwixhes. Then my first job at a furniture store when I was 15. Guys would go and get me a Cheese Double Cheese and that thing was like the GOAT of fast food burgers for the next 5 or so years until they changed their meat/patties one day. Then I moved away to a state where it was 45 min drive to one. Now Im in Hawaii without any. Rallys/Checkers fries will always be nostalgic tho. That burger meat slapper once upon a time. You could always measure how good the food would be by judging how recently the grill daddy had been released from prison and how greasy he looked. Only place I ate that this was an acceptable standard

How about Golden Krust in Teaneck the Jamaican chain restaurant. I’m not sure if you’ve done them before or not but I think it would be interesting to do them cause that is a unique fast food concept. While I don’t think they are better than the mom and pop Jamaican Spots I think their food is good especially for fast/ cafeteria style Jamaican. If you go try the Mac and cheese people either seem to love it or hate no in between.Keep the great content coming.
I agree with you about the loaded fries. They already have enough sodium. Then your going to put Bacon, ranch,and cheese on them. Thats a overload. You can have that all on the side and dip them if you want to. I personally dont even like chili cheese fries . Give me the chili and cheese on the side , i want to taste the potatoe

Florida consumer here i just hate that location are shutting down around my area in pinellas county. However Big buford as is with lettuce , tomato and pickle i will is king dude. I'm real old school Rally's. That $1.97 combo for a burger, fry and a drink was unbeatable back home in New Orleans... but that was back in 1990... I'm here in Shreveport now, where we do have a Checkers, but I stopped going years ago after I got the chicken sandwich and bit into something unchewable in that patty that almost made me hurl. I also had a cheeseburger, but the cheese was cold and unmelted. I was done after that. I just get the fries from the store now.
Those boxes have rubbery tasting chicken. They have a smaller box that is under $3 here in Kentucky. That isn't a location based thing. I been eating Rally's for over 30 years and the flavor has changed a lot.

Try Milo's burgers and the sugar free Milo's tea if you don't want a sugar rush😂. I used to be addicted to it. Now I drink unsweetened tea I'm not a sweet person anymore I'm salty & spicy kind of person and I love dill pickles ❤😂

In th mid 90s I worked at an office in El Monte. The girl who ran the office loved Rally's so we made a lot of lunch runs there. I thought it was OK. There were chains I liked a lot more, not to mention mom & pop burger stands. She swore by it though.

The beef patties changed in the 00s from good to almost inedible. Please improve your beef patties! I’m willing to pay to up charge.
YES! Their beef patties have changed since the 90’s for sure. I was first introduced to Rally’s back then when I went to college in VA and it was awesome. Their burgers still aren’t bad but definitely not the same.
