Oh man, you delivered. Glad you liked it. For palabok, you can sprinkle some calamansi juice on top (a citrus fruit). I think Jollibee gives a lemon juice packet which is a bit mid, but still does the job. They use a lot of vinegar and acids to cut through some of the greasiness of the food and it’s awesome. Jollibee’s burgers - people like them, I think they’re trash. It’s the seasoning and the texture. The rest of their menu is so amazing there really isn’t a reason to order them, imo. Need Jollibee disco fries tho.
I love the vid. Jolilibee gotta be one of my favorite fast food places. Also here's a tip, when eating the spaghetti or the palabok. Mix it so every pasta/noodle gets the sauce. :D
yes , we have Popeyes , Mc donals and KFC in here too, but with no bias , jollibee chicken really taste good , and others taste like basic and bland , we cant replicate it in home cooking :) , some kind of super secret recipe
I like that he compared the spaghetti to ghetto spaghetti/poor man's spaghetti because there is indeed a similarly there. A lot of Filipinos are poor and the OG ingredients weren't as easily accessible so that totally played a part in our version of the dish.
Usually when you see Filipino noodles we like putting the sauce on top so you have to mix the noodles and sauce really well. Yes their chicken are too die for. And yeah their fries are probably the only flaw cause it easily get soggy so it should be eaten right away. Glad you enjoyed Jollibee!
Filipino spaghetti lore drop, it's like ghetto spaghetti actually 😭😭 cause back when the country was colonized we didn't hve tomato sauce so we improvized and made banana ketchup and used that as a substitute (Also includes the hotdogs in substitute of meatballs)
Goddamn, that was entertaining and amusing, glad you enjoyed a lot of the stuff. The crunchy stuff you had from 20:19 (the pancit palabok) were crushed pork rinds by the way, they're one of my favorites.
Yeah I tried Jollibee a long time ago when I worked near one and it was pretty damn good if I say so myself and first I thought why would I dip my chicken in gravy but when I did I almost fell out the chair how good that Ish was.. Lol And the difference in the sides then your regular Mash and Gravy, Mac & Cheese type. Was a good thing. Once they grow to be in more areas they will become a favorite best.

As a Filipino, I’m really glad you enjoyed the food for the most part, with the only exception being the foods that already had ingredients you don’t like. Even then you were nice about it. Thx so much for the review!!
The reason why Jollibee spaghetti is sweet is because "Pinoy/Filipino spaghetti" sauce is made from BANANAS, not tomatoes. ^_^ The Palabok is made of rice noodles with shrimpS, fish flakes (maybe not in Jollibee's, but in like cuisine style), pork, fish sauce/patis, boiled egg, garlic and the crunchy stuff is chicharon/pork rinds. The orange sauce is made from shrimp and pork stock with annato/atsuete for coloring. The seeds of the annato give off that orange color when mixed with oil and cooked.
I wish I knew where a Jollibee was in my area. That chicken dipped in that gravy looks so good & the chicken sandwich😋 I'd have to add some lettuce, tomatoes, and more mayo to my sandwich. I'm a little skeptical of their spaghetti though😂
Peach Mango pie moment is soooo funny 🤣 and something most filipinos would be proud of when you had that reaction LOL hahahah! that moment made me subscribe to your channel! HAHAHAH keep tryin' other filipino foods tho ♥ I suggest Chicken Adobo with rice and Sinigang!

The group urged me to try it and even though I hate peaches I thought it was pretty good. I still don't go out of my way to order the pie even now, but I could eat it if I had to.
You need to mix the palabok well. The crunchy pieces are chicharon. It’s better if the noodles are coated well with the sauce. The red-orange annatto seeds are used for food coloring. The peach/mango pie is one of the best . That’s my favorite.
LOL I watched the Jollibee store front in DTLA for years, but was skeptical to go in. Last year, I watched about twoadozen UA-cam videos about Jollibee, and finally decided to give it a try, three months ago. I was very impressed with the spicy fried chicken and gravy and the mango peach pie. The crunch is 10 out of 10. First time eating fried chicken in the gravy.
We also pour that gravy all over rice when having Jollibee. The "palabok", the noodles with the orange sauce, we toss and mix that around first so all the noodles get coated.
I keep seeing this pop up for the last 3 months and I'm like, "meh.. the 500th jollibee reaction." Finally watched it and damn, the best one I've seen lmao. He actually ate and thought about what he's eating AND finished the ones he liked. So genuine. Glad you like our fast food. Hope u try more filipino food.
"this taste like childhood to me" and to every filipino kids or at majority of filipino kids ate this growing up. After going to church on sundays? Jollibee. Birthdays? Jollibee. Got high grades in school? Jollibee. Graduation day? Jollibee. So watching people from other country/race enjoy it makes me happy and nostalgic (and hungry). I enjoyed watching this a lot.
I don't really watch Mukbang style videos but man this was randomly recommended to me and you just earned another subscriber. Amazing commentary and honest reactions while still being respectful to the culture. Ghetto Spaghetti is a word I just heard here but man now I also want to try it myself!

I always loved Popeyes. But the problem with them is the inconsistency. I rarely ever get a fresh batch of chicken. Jollibee always has fresh chicken whenever I go. That’s how it’s always so crunchy in the outside and moist in the inside.
I too love Popeyes chicken. When I go to New Orleans the Popeyes is off the chain. When I would go back home to Birmingham, AL I would notice that the Popeyes was not the same. I'm now in North Carolina and it the same, not as good.
I’m half black half Filipino here in California and I’ve had a lot of Jollibee when I was younger. I love the Jolly Spaghetti and always been obsessed with it as a kid even now I still love it
As a Singaporean, eating Jolibee made me realise KFC & other joints are lies. Hands down the best fried chicken. Ima go to Philippines one day just to try exclusive menu stuff
This is the Best Jollibee Reaction video. It's just randomly recommended to me and I'm glad I saw it. Those chickens are so crispy which will pass for ASMR. Filipinos, especially children, love sweet spaghetti. We don't usually like the tangy, soury and usual Italian style taste of sauce so we've just improvised it to the palate of Pinoys. More Filipinos will love this video and become a subscribers themselves. Thanks for your honest opinion about Jollibee, it's the favorite fast food restaurant of most Pinoys, including me.
I really love this cause he knows what his talking about as food lover. This is one of the videos that you don't need to skip or fast forward the clip cause you really feel what he's talking about. It just really Hits the spot. Thankyou man for loving our food. Looking forward to watch all your videos🤟🤟🤟 kudos man
I stumbled across Jollibee's this past May, ordered the spicy 6-piece bucket 😋 and I haven't stopped going back since. Popeye's will always be my #1 but Jollibee's is something different and easier on my stomach. I'm not crazy about the pricing but it's worth it. I might give that peach-mango pie a try 👍🏿
just wanna ask but do u love chicken with gravy or not. and the peach mango pie thing is just either you'll love or hate it. there is nothing in between.
When you paused and thought about dipping the chicken sandwich in the gravy made me smile so hard 😂😂 you just gained a subscriber for sure lol i love you!
As a Native American of North Dakota, I definitely hope Jollibee expands up towards my way. I first tried it in San Diego, and was really good! I’m eating some right now in Las Vegas, and it still smacks good!
The peach-mango pie surprised you because the MANGO is from the Philippines, mangoes so are super delicious here. Even the local people can't get enough of 1 or 2 mangoes. =)
actually i just found out that the mangoes they used for the peach mango pie is actually the sweetest mango in the world it is even recorded in guinness
The crunchy bits in the palabok are chicharrones (pork rinds in the US.) And palabok is amazing. Never had Jollibee's before, but I LOVE palabok. What is the sauce, everyone might be asking. Imagine, if you will, a thick gravy with garlic, curry, shrimp, and pork in it. It's absolutely amazing, especially with the actual chunks of pork, shrimp, chopped hard boiled egg, and the like.
This was so dope - you’ve got a new subscriber bro. So happy seeing people try Filipino food and giving it a platform, been so underrated for so long. Watching you kill the palabok was awesome, my mom’s specialty dish is palabok so this brought an extra feeling of proud. Gonna be watching your videos more!
I first had Jollibee in the Philippines in the mid-1980's. I really enjoyed their fried chicken and rice, but wasn't too keen on the brown gravy. I would visit the Philippines every 2 years and upon arrival in Manila and later in Clark, we would stop at Jollibee's before taking the long ride home to my Dad's place. The chicken flavor is better than ever and so is the gravy! It tastes fantastic! I also am not too big on Mangos and Peaches, but their Mango-Peach pie is wonderful and I'm surprise that I actually like how it taste. They are now in Philadelphia, and we are happy to have them here! ☺☺💝💝
The algorithm blessed me with you. Usually I’m not too keen on watching people eat food but god damnnn your energy and just overall personality is so awesome. You seem like such a genuine person. Earned a sub man ❤️
The equation that totally makes sense I don't like peaches + i don't like mangoes = i like this pie 😂 I have watched 2 Filipino food mukbang from you and i love them both so subscribing here! Thank you for giving our Filipino foods a try!
I really liked your expressions on every food you tasted here. Specially when you even asked if you liked the mangopeach pie. 😂 I laughed out loud. I'm so glad you liked our jollibee foods. 😍
14:00 You're actually right and a lot of Filipinos grew up loving Jollibee which is it's a luxury to some people, in no offense, the poor people. The way you grew up is in no way different also from how people try to live in the Philippines. Your commentary is really genuine.

do i like this? bro that pie is heavenly i dont like fruits too but if its like that bro. id eat 10 or more
The Chicken sandwich to me is A-OK one of my favorites as well as the Aloha champ
It’s so funny how he got addicted to the gravy hahahaha I can definitely see myself just watching him
Looks magically delicious as always fam! I always get their chicken sandwich! 🔥
It bangs🔥
@@KingSchratz yo I got a question cause I’m a new viewer, how did u get that scar bro that shit is sick
I keep seeing this pop up for the last 3 months and I'm like, "meh.. the 500th jollibee reaction."
Finally watched it and damn, the best one I've seen lmao. He actually ate and thought about what he's eating AND finished the ones he liked. So genuine. Glad you like our fast food. Hope u try more filipino food.
hahaha same here!
I watched one eating jollibee reaction and yt brings out like hundreds of them lmao
"race" bruh
bro said Race LMAO
@@Neody what’s wrong with them saying race. Filipinos are Asian and have diff foods from other races. They didn’t say anything racist
@@validate1497yes he did r u slow
never had high grades but still got jollibee 😂💗
I don't really watch Mukbang style videos but man this was randomly recommended to me and you just earned another subscriber. Amazing commentary and honest reactions while still being respectful to the culture. Ghetto Spaghetti is a word I just heard here but man now I also want to try it myself!
is it just me or does people below 500k but has 10k plus have the best commenteries?

That look at the gravy before you dipped the chicken sandwich gave me quite the chuckle. You definitely understood the assignment lol
As a Filipino I like people like u who understands culture... People cooks...different foods... Two thumbs up..
Honestly I love Jollibee spaghetti.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@Fritz テレビ u seems look at URSELF so highly.. Lol.. Food is culture
@@unknownzer0773 FACTS!
@Kurista テレビ fellow Filipino here too… be humble bruh. You feel so entitled and think of yourself too highly. This is part of our culture as well. Sure it’s not authentic Filipino, but it still is our culture. Humble yourself
@Kurista テレビ huh?? U must've failed your History, philosophy, Music&arts and other subjects that has got to do with culture during class ryt??...crazy how u had the guts to say foolish things🙃
Popeyes is good can’t wait to try jollybee
Tired of the disappointing Popeyes hype. Minus their chicken sandwich’s, it’s ok.
@@Eddie_Gonzalez agreed
yeah the sandwich at popeyes are good if fresh, if they old it just tastes like grease
I’m half black half Filipino here in California and I’ve had a lot of Jollibee when I was younger. I love the Jolly Spaghetti and always been obsessed with it as a kid even now I still love it
This is my first time watching you, you’re a great communicator. You should definitely do more food reviews
Hey. Nice vid
"there has to be something illegal in here" is by far the highest compliment i have ever heard about our jollibee gravy lmao
Jollibee gravy is my first request in heaven
As a Singaporean, eating Jolibee made me realise KFC & other joints are lies. Hands down the best fried chicken. Ima go to Philippines one day just to try exclusive menu stuff
No don't do it
Dont since u cant see it in the philippines
@@mrninjashorts5378 wat happened?
@@tehextra3907 jollibee in philippines is literally different than any other countries cuz the fried chicken is small and sort of not that crispy
@@mrninjashorts5378 and no other menu like mango peach pie and adobo rice
"I don't like peaches, I don't like mango, I like this pie.." very cute! Thank you for trying one of our bestest Filipino fast food chain! ❤️
Yes he is very entertaining he is getting me with the ghetto 🤣🤣🤣
❤
I really love this cause he knows what his talking about as food lover. This is one of the videos that you don't need to skip or fast forward the clip cause you really feel what he's talking about. It just really Hits the spot. Thankyou man for loving our food. Looking forward to watch all your videos🤟🤟🤟 kudos man
I died laughing when you said that there's something illegal into the gravy since it is so good! 😅 Filipino here! 🙌
HAHAHAHAHHAHAA
He should go to the Philippines and Experience GRAVY STATION 🤣
Filipino making a big deal about their plain and no flavored gravy.
then theres filipino's (like me) who complain why my gravy have no flavor :(
@@dabmaste oh,threatened bruh why are you even watching this?wasting time honey?get out, thank you!
I stumbled across Jollibee's this past May, ordered the spicy 6-piece bucket 😋 and I haven't stopped going back since. Popeye's will always be my #1 but Jollibee's is something different and easier on my stomach. I'm not crazy about the pricing but it's worth it. I might give that peach-mango pie a try 👍🏿
just wanna ask but do u love chicken with gravy or not. and the peach mango pie thing is just either you'll love or hate it. there is nothing in between.
much love from the Philippines ❤
see, i’ve been wanting to try it but the pricing is kinda high for me 😅
@@courtney.95. In the Philippines it is MUCH cheaper a Jollibee spaghetti in the US is like 5 dollars and in the Philippines, it is like 1 dollar
@@Yo_235 that’s insane , america is known for charging more for anything that should be sold at retail prices
Your closet would be in Canada. Take a small trip. :D
@@LilSaint001100 yeah, it’d be in Winnipeg. I’m gonna do it!

@@GhostyMist yeah 3.5 hour drive for some fastfood is nothing right? Lmao
Now I wonder what Mangoes from other countries taste like
Pinoy here but i dont eat ripe mangoes
Definitely! If i were to be proud of smth, its Filipino mangoes 💗 its differently sweet from thai mangoes it is just so good
Also Mango is philippine's national fruit lol, the Manila Mango as its called
Earned a sub man ❤️
The equation that totally makes sense
I don't like peaches + i don't like mangoes = i like this pie 😂
I have watched 2 Filipino food mukbang from you and i love them both so subscribing here!
I’ve never seen any of your videos before but this popped up in my recommended and now I’m a subscriber. I love your excitement and at the same time you’re so chill. I’ve never had Jollibee but dang I want it now.
