- Extremely rare clip from a music documentary show that was probably a precursor to MTV when the One On One album had just come out with the singles "If You Want My Love" and "She's Tight".
Mostly with Robin Zander and the more wacky Rick Nielsen plus Jon Brandt occasionally chiming in. They first mentioned how Bun E. Carlos being sick and not there at the time, then talked about the band's beginnings in 1973 in clubs in Illinois, their musical influences mainly in heavier 50s rockabilly and The Beatles later on, their approach to the new format of MTV in the early 80s and making videos to keep it simpler instead of using stuff like animation, plus a funny story about a groupie girl who mailed herself n/aked to Robin.
I've always loved Robin Zander and Tom Petterson.

SWEET... INTENSE ..
......INTERVIEW...💋
Weird interviewer.
This was broadcast on the USA network. It was often broadcast in tandem with the Chicago Fest show in 1981.
oh wow, I'd love to see any more episodes. How long did it last into the 80s for?
I hate Cheap Trick. Their songs live in my head 24 hours a day.
I have the same problem, lol!🤣@@georgehenderson7783

Such a great & fun interview! Their answers had me laughing so much. It's nice seeing these interviews, where it doesn't seem so rehearsed or scripted like many now. Thank you for uploading!
Not only does Robin has a beautiful singing voice. The sound of him talking is nice to listen to, even if he's talking about paint drying.
