I feel like the steam from the shower is really beneficial. I've started steaming in the shower (especially since my ends are colored now), and my locs feel soooo SOFT afterwards. I Definitely love, and feel the difference too.
Great video! In addition to drinking plenty of water, I also found that eating foods that contain healthy oils like omega 3's made a difference in the moisture levels in my locs. Including salmon and seeds such as chia, flax, and hemp in my diet has really helped my locs and scalp. Btw, the african inspired jewelry looks fabulous on you! You and your family stay well and blessed!
You are so welcome! 😊 I’m so glad that the videos have been helpful to you. Congratulations to you and your sweet baby girl on your new loc journeys! 🥰
Im so surprised she didn't mention porosity, nor anyone in the comments. I'm rooting for her to understand her hair is high porosity & how to manage that.
Ok so rose water has a different chemical make up then just plain water, it moisturizes the hair, while plain water will dry your hair out quickly. I spritz my locs daily with rose water with a few drops of vitamin e oil added to the bottle. I absolutely love the results.
I want to start locs but my hair is dyed on the ends. Should I cut that off first before locing? Locticians keep telling me I don’t need to but I feel like my hair wouldn’t be able to thrive w the dead ends.
1. Dehydration
2. Not using the right products
3. Using too many products
4. Color/Dyed hair
5. Lack of moisture
6. Fabrics
🙂😊🤗
Yes, the steam from the shower leaves my loc's feeling amazing!💝

Yessss! It’s amazing! Wish I started doing it sooner! Lol.
Steaming my locs in the shower is my favorite way to keep them moisturized and works great for me, as well.
"Definitely, the steam does the trick!
And, drinking plenty of water.

Great tips! May I suggest that you might be better off using rose water or diluted aloe vera juice than conditioner.
Just was curious why diluted aloe Vera ? Is 100% aloe Vera too strong?
Finally a video that gets right to THE POINT!!!!
Love your earrings 💗💗💗💗 thanks for the tips!!!!

Very helpful. Thanks!✨
I’m constantly dehydrated 😒
Is it ok to spritz your hair with rose water everyday or is it pointless because water will eventually dry out
Personally, I have not used rose water so
I can’t speak on it from experience.
I have heard good things about it, however, it’s not necessary.😊

I suffer from eczema on my hands as well and I have issues with it. What do you use to help you

Cut the dead ends off.
