If you really have love for the club then you never quit prospecting because you can learn something every day and there's always work to be done

Absolutely the hang around process is key. Hang around for a year or two before the prospecting process begins. And of course still do the application before you obligate to being a prospect. This will cut away the fat. Keep the lames with the lames and the real from getting caught up

    • @ThomasBoyce5000

@@681_fuq exactly! I remember meeting a 99 club and they jumped right into asking me to join, and every alarm went off in my head and I had to cook up a quick lie so I could get outta there. I'm not a fearful man by any stretch, but I have been taught to always pay attention and exercise caution. They seemed cool enough, but it just set my Danger alarms off.
On the other hand, the 1% club was alot better about things, and the idea of prospecting only came up twice, and I became cool with the Road Captain.

I'm a current prospect over in Cali, about to pass my year mark. I was lucky to have had a military background, so I understood some of the reasoning for breaking down someone. Like the military, gotta embrace the suck. Do everything, including the bad shit, like you love it.

As someone who went from hang around to prospect, this video is true and there is one important thing you have to do as well when prospecting. KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.
I may not be prospecting anymore, but I will not explain the details of my prospecting period or what club it was for, I keep my mouth shut. DO NOT TALK ABOUT CLUB BUSINESS

Another great video brother. You are 100% on top of it again. Prospecting is a extremely necessary thing to do. Especially for those that have not grown up in this life or been in this life. There is a lot of knowledge to be learned. If you are Prospecting for a club, do the work, most of the time you should be seen and not heard. Mouth shut and eyes and ears open. You will learn far more that way. The brothers in the club will have a wealth of knowledge to learn from. Just remember, you are a man first and foremost. Act like it. If you say youre going to do something... then fuckin do it. Dont wait to be told to do a simple task like cleaning the bathroom or taking out the trash. The brothers know who puts in the work.
    Keep them coming Sose!!! ##GHOSTINBABY

I have some limited experience around 1% clubs. First thing you have to understand is that as a prospect you will be carrying the drugs, guns and anything else that the patches don't want to be caught with. As a prospect you will grovel to the patched members. There is not a chance in hell I'd grovel to one of those AH.

Yeah I used to hang out with this guy who was super cool dude grew weed was a hippie and then I don't know one day he decided he wanted to buy a motorcycle he met some 1% Mongols and he changed completely literally overnight. Now he is a full patch member has his own chapter and he is not the same guy I knew I don't even talk to him anymore because he turned into a pr*ck and a cokehead.

It pretty much is an apprenticeship. And nobody should be ashamed if they take longer than others. Humility can make you grow, accell, and rise up further than you thought possible making you very valuable through persistence.
Guess best advice is never give up on that dream and like you said mr. Sose, you don’t know the path others have walked.

I’ve watched almost every video on your channel about the culture. I’ve picked up a lot from it. I was ready to see what clubs are out there and I found one. Hung around and followed every protocol you mentioned in most videos. Most guys thought I was in another club for how much I knew mainly the little stuff. But now I have just entered prospect phase and it in itself was one of the best feelings ever. Love the club so far. I may cry when I get my full patch

  • @ABCMeEFG

Sose, I appreciate #4 and I've learned a lot from it, from you how you spoke to the prospect. I'm not a biker or a street guy, I'm new to the channel and I'm loving the content. But that story, and a lot of things you've shared in other videos is making me look at myself and how I fit into the world. It's reminding me that there are rules and protocols to every sphere of life ( parents to children, boss to employee, etc.), and even even being in the right or having the correct information still needs to be handled the right way. Being "correct" doesn't equal to being "right."
Also, it's reminded me that I'm just a single person passing through these spheres of life, street or boardroom, and it's more than wise to understand and respect how that sphere moves. Life isn't about me doing what I want to do, but how I interact with others.
    Thanks for that lesson, Sose.

theres the ole "you have 5 minutes to sew your patch on" so let me back you up on busting the myth that the idea of a prospect is to treat them like sh*t , WRONG, rememember if that dude gets patched, you and him are in a trench together you want him to back you up instead of resenting you, prospects are made to work ahrd for the club to show their worth and learn from the elders, hell I still hang around with some elders even after my accident and becoming disabled (long story) prospecting is about working to show loyality

Honestly, most of this is just good advice for anyone starting out in the world or a new job. Stop comparing yourself to others, you don't know how they were hired, what their experience is, and what they were promised. Keep your head down, pay your dues, and learn. We ALL have to do that to be successful in life. I showed up to my first professional job in Tampa, FL after college in NC, and I was working at a juvenile detention center. Everyone took one look at me, blonde hair, blue eyes, pretty face, and gigantor boobs and said "she ain't gonna last." They were all wrong and sad to see me go when I moved on to a better opportunity. I made a lot of friends at that job. But, I just kept plugging along until people knew I wasn't going anywhere (or fucking every dude at work..... fucking "diamond life" still had a jheri curl in 1999, he was about 50, I was 23 and he wouldn't leave me alone. His license plate said diamond life.)

I don't know the particular situation you're referring to look with that hang around, but what if in theory the hangaround was telling the truth and the brother was lying about him what should be done in that circumstance? Both from the hangaround side and from the club officer side?

If it's your first motorcycle riding experience, you need to take your time, practice in parking lots, and become a solid cruiser rider BEFORE you ever try to go on a group ride. Rookies can hurt or kill other riders in a group/pack ride. At a minimum, they can end up damaging a brother's bike along with their own. A little too fast letting the clutch out, a little too much front brake on a low speed turn, zoning out on a long ride while just 8 feet behind another rider at 75 mph - all can quickly go bad.
Hangaround with that Scout 60 a while before you try group rides.

    • @samhinzman2018

@@amerigo88 Solid advice! I definitely want to get some good practice with clutch control, turning breaking and emergency stopping drills in a good empty parking lot before I hit the road. Good thing is I only live 3.5 miles from work and I can get comfortable in short runs. I personally wouldn’t attempt to ride in a group until not only I feel comfortable but also until my brother who’s been riding for 25 years tells me that he thinks I’m ready and trust me, he’s a skeptic of everything I do so he’ll be looking at me through the eyes of a veteran while I just slow down and take his advice. I’m in no hurry to hurt myself or anyone else. 👍

  • @lumbrados

To me they're just gang bangerz on bikes. I see the appeal though especially if your ex-military or in some cases if you're an ex gang banger. I knew a guy who was a veteran who became a full patch member of the Mongols pretty much turned his back on all his childhood friends that he hung out with on the regular because he had "new brothers". I remember one of the guys he used to hang out with telling me how he got so mad at him because he introduced him to his new friends from the club and he kept calling them brothers and he was like bro you barely know these guys. It's definitely not for the faint of heart. It's just like being in the military somebody ordering you around telling you what to do even when you're a full patch member there's always someone above you bossing you around. The guy I'm talking about turned into a big time cokehead and pretty much was talking like he wanted to regulate on people all the time and before he joined the club he was not at all like that. Dude was like a hippie who smoked a lot of weed and was totally chill. But Hey if that's your thing that's your thing. I like watching your videos and I like learning about the culture because it's intriguing and it fascinates me even though I still don't understand where you guys are coming from.
