buying my first bike tmrw so ima bouta been the brand new squid (not joining a club atm tho) will join a veterans club once i gain enough time where i feel like a group setting wont be distracting for me. its a 1100 Vstar cruiser.
Yeah, same here. I'm the guy you NEVER see because i'm offroad, sideways, in the air, ripping wheelies through the desert yelling "Yeehaw" and scaring the hell out of rabbits on a big camo mad max dirt bike while everyone is heading to the club or bar. I was watching Alex Riemann shred trails on adventure bikes before this and somehow the YT algorithm led me here lol. I live way off grid in the high desert mountains, my 'commute' is half steep, twisty dirt (or mud or snow lol) and half tight canyon carving. I hardly ever ride on non twisty paved roads in the first place never mind cruising down a highway in a pack. I have no desire to ride on the streets at all, i just want to jump over stuff, do wheelies and ride it like i stole it AND it owes me money. I don't stop riding to even pick up an 'ol' lady', never mind join a club. All that is like a whole different world from what i do, but it's still bikes and riding.
Right when you said life of the party I thought of my best friend. He definitely fit into your description perfectly. It struck a nerve. Unfortunately he passed a couple of years ago and there's a spark missing in all our lives now since he's been gone. I swear there were so many people at his funeral you'd think a celebrity passed away. Well he was a celebrity to us. I miss my brother.
I was the Nomad, actually a Nomad. Was hard being that way, I finally stepped away as I was not bringing anything to the table other then monthly communication and trying to assist prospect education from a far. Would have helped if I wasn't a nomad I believe I could have pulled out of it and at least be the bike guy lol.
Bx bro, I am the nomad bike guy. Never got into it enough to get a cut. It’s not my style. Don’t like to be told where to go and what to do. Now at 56 I’ve been around awhile and don’t regret getting caught up. Much respect to the OG”s out there who did there time and keep there clubs together. The youngsters need to seek them out. They know everything.
I was told I wouldn't fit in because all I did was Wrenching ,Building, and Riding. Not all clubs are the same, and those guys might have been right, for them.
If I’m being honest, I’ve been all of those types at one time or another (except the elder) As I’ve grown and learned, I dropped the cancer and politician along the way. I was fortunate to have some elders teach me what was right along the way. At 56, my main goal now is to become that elder who helps and teaches the younger members. My desire to model for and teach them keeps my actions in check. If you’re in a position where guys are looking up to you, make damn sure you’re teaching them what’s right.
I have to say I’m the bike guy. I never understood all the politics. I just wanted to ride. We all came for our own reasons but the bikes and the ride are why we are there. Once that is gone the reason is gone.
I'm an introvert, mainly because I grew up alone, in the mean streets of SC Los Angeles, and struggle to find bs convos to strike up. But, will take your advice on that one.
The club I was with everyone always had to have there soft colors on. I had four soft colors two different short sleeves and two different long sleeves. I had one of each support shirts we came out with that I would wear under my cut on club outings. My soft colors were for if I had to cage it to a club outing, I never felt the need to wear my club stuff everyday and some of the brothers would get so pissed, I knew who I was and what work I put in and people that knew me knew I was a member of a olmc.
Love being on my bike and working on them I am not a political guy. I commute Rosarito Mx to Irwindale Ca. I grew up in Croydon Pa so, its good to know this Info. Thank You
Getting to know club members, I'm always getting new clients from members of different clubs passing my name around and on the flip side, I know members of different clubs who I can go to for a paint job, a guy on the set who hand makes different types of bike accessories, auto mechanics, diesel mechanics, the grill master(he was on a Netflix grilling competition), the golfers...people who are connected to any and everything that will improve your quality of life.
I didn't have a name for it until you said it, I'm a Bike Guy. No club, but definitely a Bike Guy. Bike Guys are to motorcycling what Bob Ross was to painting. No pressures, no problems, no stress, just the road... According to my calculations the problem doesn't exist.
Atm not with a club but am a bit of a nomad guy but when i feel happy n relaxed im normally the party fun guy love uplifting spirits im like that with my friends even more with my family at home
I was never in an MC, was a hangarouund for a support club for about 2 weeks before I decided it wasn't for me (too many other commitments and I didn't really dig the regimentation). I was more of a commuter. I rarely did long runs. My bike was my sole means of transportation, so I rode every day for 7 years straight, about 30 miles a day. Athritis eventually curtailed my riding but I dp miss my 1200 Nightster. It was hella fun on the empty stretches of Mopac at 4 in the morning.
Honestly I would say this applies to any group not just motorcycle clubs. I was working for a small company in the oilfield and we definitely have all the same guys at the rig. In all areas of my life I definitely try to be the life of the party guy. I have never spent much time around motorcycle clubs so I speak on this from an outside perspective. Bike guy and the life of the party are the two best guys to be. Politician and cancer are the two worst. I think as an outsider that’s still a valid take.
I the bike guy. Being riding over 25 years. Few years ago i pulled into a petrol station and few of my best Friends were there. Shocked when I pulled in a van. Didnt realise I could drive as i d always ridden a bike. 😅😅😂
I'm not in a club but that description of the motorcycle guy pretty much describes me. I just want to ride. Currently got a couple projects I'm working on just so I can get back out there on the road.
I'm for sure the Nomad guy. Like you said it is a detriment. I don't like to start up conversations, or even introduce myself. Once you get to know me, i'll warm up tho. I've got better at it as my life goes on. I still don't like it it's draining as hell. That's one of the reason I started riding. I'll even go on group rides, we all have comms systems, but there are times i'll be like "Hey, this is were we're gonna go. I don't really feel like talking. So i'm not going to be on comms. You guys understand hand signals. Sides that pay attention and follow me." It's a lot easier to tell the group verbally, but sometimes I just want the road, the thoughts, and maybe my music.
Thank you for this video and respect. I've been watching your videos for sometime. I'm not a member or care to join a club. But if I was ill probably be the bike guy. I like bikes and riding them and being on the road and seeing things and places. I like being around bikers. I'm a guy will sit bye myself and mind my own business and keep my mouth shut. I don't like drama. I like the ladies. I've known members of different clubs through the years and one has been helpful when I was going through things in my life and I've learn about some things about the life and in the process heal up and learn alot about my life. I do go to rallies and on runs and I hang in the back and out of sight. My bike draws attention so that don't work out so well. There is a local clubs see me out and will talk with me and have ask me to hang out. I think one of these days I might hang out and check it out. Problem is I'm not comfortable around lots of people. I rather be alone. I like my bikes and ride and hang out alone. I want be a no buddy.
In my mc, I'm the friendly guy who is always making connections and networking as well as supporting set members' businesses when I can, especially if they're a regular client of mine.
I am ABSOLUTELY THE LIFE OF THE PARTY GUY!!! I know how to do it in a healthy way now. Thank God I am clean and sober now because for so long I would have been the CANCER. I LOVE building everyone up, not tearing anyone down.
Ive got a question brother. Im here in Australia and love the work you do. What would you say would be the best approach in bringing a OMC to another country from the US say the Vagos. Would it be more respectful to call or when on holiday in US have a talk with a few of the brothers?
I’m the motorcycle guy. I’m in a top 5 club and at the start I was disappointed that we hardly ever talk about bikes, mods, and so on. I check oil, brake pads etc on other members’ bikes. I nearly quit because there wasn’t enough bike talk and action lol.
I’m a cross between the bike guy and the life of the party. I am constantly joking around and flipping my brothers shit making them laugh, yet I’m the first one asking who wants to go for a ride as much as possible!

I'll never be in a Club but if I was, I'd be the Bike Guy. Probably why I'm not in a Club.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Rip to your brother more like him are needed
Some of us enjoy being the quiet guy in the room….. they are the most unpredictable if you observe it
Great video can u do reasons someone decides to leave a club
Will do
nomad but your advice make me think diffrent on it because i did accept it now i wanna change it cheers dude
I'm from the bronx as well and i fuck with MC culture from an outsiders prospective. You're def dope as fuck much love brodie
Much love bro
Mos definitely the nomad and I agree, good and bad thing 💯
You are spot on sos.
I myself am a introvert it is hard to overcome that
#GHOSTIN great video as always brother
Appreciate you brother
Great video brother
Much appreciated
Def BX bro
I was told I wouldn't fit in because all I did was Wrenching ,Building, and Riding. Not all clubs are the same, and those guys might have been right, for them.
thats a shame
But, will take your advice on that one.
yea its not easy but the better you get at it you dont strike bs convos they become valuable
@DemonsRow if you're ever in DFW, would love to meet you brother. Keep up the great content.
Nomad but more so in a way that I use it to read a room and pick when it's time to talk and when it's time to watch and listen.
Yeah! Big up your brother!
Thank You
Life of the party,,,,,shout out from the UK mate

Thanks love
@@DemonsRow 👍😊
Excellent.
Good info homie
Appreciate it
I’m the rider. My FAVORITE part is all of us TOGETHER cruising down the road ANY ROAD as long as we are riding together and riding.
Few years ago i pulled into a petrol station and few of my best
Friends were there. Shocked when I pulled in a van. Didnt realise I could drive as i d always ridden a bike. 😅😅😂
These videos really interesting I'm not a biker but I just find the culture of bikers and mcs real interesting
What I take from this video is that members of motorcycle clubs are people just like everyone else.
Yes
There is yet another they are called the loyalists. No matter the scerumstances, they are always there and always got your back
Why OMC basically need to fight people, “enemy club members “ ? Why not just ride in your bikes, party. Etc, why violence is a major activity?
Pride, reputation, loyalty? Whether in a MC or not, disrespect causes arguments. And it's not always intentional.
I'm not in a club but that description of the motorcycle guy pretty much describes me. I just want to ride. Currently got a couple projects I'm working on just so I can get back out there on the road.
8 is the reason why everyone should be joining clubs for the riding, friendship and the fun of hanging and running the roads with your friends.
I'm definitely the Nomad type bro, I don't really say much unless something needs to be said. I'm also the same bro, bit of an introvert.
#Ghostin....Hoorah🦁☠
hoorah appreciate you brother
I'm for sure the Nomad guy. Like you said it is a detriment. I don't like to start up conversations, or even introduce myself. Once you get to know me, i'll warm up tho. I've got better at it as my life goes on. I still don't like it it's draining as hell. That's one of the reason I started riding. I'll even go on group rides, we all have comms systems, but there are times i'll be like "Hey, this is were we're gonna go. I don't really feel like talking. So i'm not going to be on comms. You guys understand hand signals. Sides that pay attention and follow me."
It's a lot easier to tell the group verbally, but sometimes I just want the road, the thoughts, and maybe my music.
I can relate
Alot of us are introvert
In my mc, I'm the friendly guy who is always making connections and networking as well as supporting set members' businesses when I can, especially if they're a regular client of mine.
None of em, I’m not a member of an MC.
I can definitely imagine each clubs having a spread of those types.
I am ABSOLUTELY THE LIFE OF THE PARTY GUY!!! I
know how to do it in a healthy way now.
Thats a tough one bro
I’m the motorcycle guy. I’m in a top 5 club and at the start I was disappointed that we hardly ever talk about bikes, mods, and so on. I check oil, brake pads etc on other members’ bikes. I nearly quit because there wasn’t enough bike talk and action lol.
I’m a cross between the bike guy and the life of the party. I am constantly joking around and flipping my brothers shit making them laugh, yet I’m the first one asking who wants to go for a ride as much as possible!
