Oh wow! Your whale encounter gave me shivers! I definitely have to do this the next time I’m in Mexico. It’s so much fun living vicariously through your travels lol can’t wait for next week
Hi There, Amazing video and happy for your experience !! Quick questions, we are planning to go there. Which dates were you guys there? What about the prices for camping and the tours? Any information will be much appreciated.. Thanks in advance
Hi! The peak of whale season is generally in February. We were there at the end of Feb. Cost varies based on where you camp and which tour operator you use. There are several in town to choose from. Hope you have a wonderful trip! Wish we were heading there again this winter!
Your videos are great…Just found you guys. We are headed to see the whales in the beginning of March. What was the name of the building and boating company to take you out to see whales? I seen you said it was cash. How much was it so I can have right amount of cash?
Hi! Not sure there was a company name. There is only one building and everyone lines up there in the morning to buy tickets for going out on that day (no booking ahead). It's basic, but it works. We can't remember the pricing at the moment, but there is a short clip of the sign with prices on it in the video. It's posted in their window. If you are looking for a more structured experience that you can book ahead, you might be interested in Whale Magic.

That's great to hear! Lots more to come as we make our way up Hwy 1 to the border.
Loved the gray whale watching (petting) at Geurro Negro last February. Didn't know there was whale watching in St. Ignatia...
Yeah, the whales go to 3 places in fact - Guerrero Negro, San Ignacio, and Bahía Magdalena.
@@HomeARoam Sure enjoyed following your travels through Baja!
You look like you had a great time at both stops. The whale tour was fantastic. Be safe!
