- Description:
In this tutorial, you will learn how to create your own MetaHumans using Unreal Engine and the MetaHuman Creator Plugin. The MetaHuman Creator Plugin provides a powerful toolset to create highly realistic human characters with a wide range of customization options. We will start by creating a mesh in your favorite 3D software and then import it into Unreal Engine. From there, we will walk through the process of using the MetaHuman Creator Plugin to add facial features, hair, clothing, and animations to bring your character to life. By the end of this tutorial, you will have a fully functional MetaHuman ready to be used in your next project.

I have a question, it's possible to create model on blender, import on metahuman creator and take advantage of metahuman plugin.
For my project i need to create a hybrid human-fish, it's impossible to create it directly in metahuman creator, but if i create him in blender... Do you think it's possible ?
Yes, you can, but you need to create morph and retarget it using blender or maya.
Okok, thanks for answering 👌😁
Already using dx12 as default RHI. But still says unsupported RHI. So I’m not able to promote frame for tracking .I have also enable RHI as Windows DirectX 12 in Project setting can u please help me to resolve this issue?
I understand that you're encountering an issue with Unreal Engine 5.3 when trying to promote a frame for tracking with Metahuman, and you're seeing an "unsupported RHI" error message even though you've set DirectX 12 as the default RHI and enabled it in the project settings. This issue can have various causes, and troubleshooting it may require a few steps. Here are some potential solutions to try:
1. Check Hardware and Driver Compatibility:
Ensure that your hardware and graphics drivers are compatible with DirectX 12. Update your graphics card drivers to the latest version if necessary.
2. Rebuild the Project:
Sometimes, the project files may become corrupted. Try rebuilding your project by deleting the "Intermediate" and "Saved" folders in your project directory and then regenerate your project files. After that, open the project and see if the issue is resolved.
3. Verify Unreal Engine Installation:
Make sure that your Unreal Engine installation is not corrupted. You can use the "Verify" option in the Epic Games Launcher to check the integrity of the engine installation. If any files are missing or corrupted, it will repair them.
4. Update Unreal Engine:
Check if there are any updates available for Unreal Engine. Sometimes, a bug can be fixed in a newer version. Update to the latest version if possible.
5. Check Project Settings:
In your project settings, go to "Platforms" -> "Windows" -> "Default RHI" and ensure that "DX12" is selected.
6. Check Plugin Conflicts:
Some plugins might interfere with DirectX 12. Temporarily disable any third-party plugins in your project and see if the issue persists. If it doesn't, you can enable them one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
7. Check Project Blueprint/Code:
If you have any custom code or Blueprints that interact with the RHI settings, review them to ensure they are not changing the RHI setting in a way that causes conflicts.
8. Update or Reinstall Metahuman Plugin:
If you are using a Metahuman plugin, ensure it's up to date or try reinstalling it. Sometimes, plugin updates address compatibility issues with newer engine versions.
9. Contact Unreal Engine Support:
If none of the above solutions work, you may need to reach out to Unreal Engine support or the Metahuman support community for assistance. They might have specific insights into this issue.
10. Check System Requirements:
Ensure that your hardware meets the system requirements for Unreal Engine 5.3, as Metahuman and newer engine versions may have higher demands.
Amazing channel 🤩
Thank you so much 😁
Thank you sir
All the best
after editing my character on creator site, it is not showing up in unreal engine's bridge, help me out!!
when you open creator website, make sure you choose version of unreal engine you are using, also make sure you update your quixel bridge from epic games launcher
Can you export these characters as obj or fbx files?
you can only export FBX, USD, USDA, USDC, GLB, GLTF, COPY and T3D currently
thanks
your welcome
there is no metaHuman plugin for mac version , pls what should i do. thankyou
I am not sure about this because I don't use mac, but did you double check the epic market place?
@@zinteractive yes ,windows only😢
toss that ugly Mac out the window. :P
Amazing ❤
thanks
Anyway to get more clothing options
you can use meta tailor, because these are the only clothes available in metahuman itself
@@zinteractivewhere is meta tailor at?
How can we modify metahuman? Like i want to remove the mouth completely? How can we do that?
There is no detail modification yet, however, you have to take it to any third party 3D application and retarget back in unreal, its a tedious process and not easy to explain.
@@zinteractive could you please suggest some softwares and third party apps where I can modify a metahuman according to my needs??
@@ArchitectVirendraChhatria you can use Blender
do you know how to edit the body?
you need to create morphs and reapply the bones and roots, its a long process
Hey why don't I make a game that is also a tutorial to unreal engine
bro can i import this character into blender
yes, but with some limitations
how to use it in mac
unfortunately it is not supported by MAC OS
