some thoughts for your next flashlight project, use some LiIon cells, those you can recycle from a laptop battery or use old cell phone ones add a diode and there you go! rechargeable flashlight! also remember that LEDs need resistors and to make the aluminum foil brighter you can paste stripes to avoid wrinkles.
WOW you would be a useful person to know when survival skills are all that matter. You have a great mind.

I have used epoxy adhesive that's used in industry, its very strong
so for example the flashlight you made how long will that last before something fails?
