I made this with my daughter today! I sliced my palm and shocked myself at one point, but we had a blast! And now, we have a flashlight! Thanks for the tutorial!

Hello i find that you make wonderful projects and this one is super ! 😃 i Just wanted no tell you something that i notified just for esthetic : the wire string appears behind the flashlight . Congrats for your so fun and genuis ideas 👏👍😊
Well, a student in middle school learns about electricity so this video is so great because it look good and works and is doable. It teaches kids how flashlights work.
+DrCaoZ pt. Hey. I just wanted to tell you there is nothing wrong with your statement that you learned English "in school" versus learned English "in THE school". Your grammar is correct when you say you learned English "in school". Have a nice day! :-)
You could put tin foil behind and around (but not touching) the LED to focus the light and make it brighter. You could also cut a circle out of the side of a clear bottle (Fiji water bottle would work best) and glue it to the front of the light to protect the LED.
But you made it your self but I highly doubt that it cost more than a flashlight you would buy. LED's and Lamps cost very little and batteries well guess what most flashlights require batteries.
Oh your english is fine. i like your accent too. Oh one thing. You can use a white paint coat or aluminium foil or metallic paint or something to the inner side of the bottle (well tip of the bottle which is used as reflecting surface and to focus the light ) so that it will reflect the light far more profusely and resist the leaking of light through the transparent surface of the the bottle. :)
We first cut the plastic bottle in half, then the other bottle's top. Next, we have to screw the cap off and glue popsicles sticks, half a portion of the bottle's mouth. After that we need to make sure that the half of the bottle and cap is connected by the use of popsicles sticks. We then cut two small pieces of popsicle sticks and glue it inside along the bottle's mouth. Cut a rectangular piece using the other half of our plastic bottle which will serve as the spring. The rectangular piece should be creased and then tie the wire around the spring, then glue the bag between the two small sticks. Make a small hole in the center of the cap. We will need a small wire, twist and adjust it by 90°, then glue it afterwards. We have to make sure that the wire will make contact with the batteries. This will serve as its switch. We have to cut the edges of another bottle cap and form a circle. Mark the wire and create two holes, then insert the ends of the LED. Glue around it to make sure it will stay. Tie the wires to the right polarity of the ends of the LED. After tying the wires, we then have to pull it down from the inside. We then put glue around the circle. But first we have to take the batteries out, then glue one stick inside. Make sure that the stick is glued on the inter top to make space for the batteries. Lastly, cover it with popsicles sticks.
+crazyPT my daughter is having a science fest which she will do at school and since there is no groupings she has to do it alone and she has to know how to do it fast because they are all going to make it together in school which they will do TOMORROW!!!!!!!!
+Celin E He uses 2 AA. Each one is 1.2v to make 2.4v. A lot of coin batteries are 3v each. So you could use 1 coin and be close enough, but it will go dead fast.
