Renamed as Emilia-Romagna GP, but for F1 fans... Is still San Marino GP.
In our hearts.
I just want Luxembourgs world famous race track back on the calendar
@@PlittHDIn Germany, it was named Eiffel GP 2 years ago.
@@Williamsamoro The race on the Nürburgring was named GP of Luxemburg in 1997 and 1998.
@@hanswurst6712 I remember, but we miss it anyway.
Still remember watching that fateful weekend with my farther in 94 , im pleased F1 came back to imola though so many good historical tracks get left behind for modern day money making car parks and street circuits xxx
Couldn't agree more, even a boring race at Imola will be far better than the car park at Miami for example
That microphone you're using has a lot of self noise and the noise gate makes it sound weird, as you hear the sound randomly dying a few seconds after you stop speaking.
Such an iconic track with lots of history and drama.
Good video, maybe a bit too short, but the sound quality is really poor!
Great video, but the audio sounds weird.
Nice to see you got your laptop's built-in mic working for this 2007 quality video.
the audio for this video is distorted, making it very hard to listen to.
I watched a couple of youre video's, good job! New sub.
The audio's really bad I'm afraid :(
Please don’t ruin your otherwise great content with awful sound quality! :)
Is that man saying "mark" schumacher?
Heard the same
Did you record the sound over Skype?
Almost all fans remember Imola for that 1 fateful weekend in 1994
can't believe imola still on calendar in 2022. such bad memories on this track.
They should restore the older faster circuit cause cars are safer now. Main issue I see on the cars is the huge blind spots and little mirrors. When I look at the grosjean incident it is more about him not being able to see where kvyat was so he sent straight to the right hand side and colliding with him. If he had better mirror or smaller blind spots accident would have never happened.
It doesn't really matter how big the mirrors are, they vibrate so much you can't see anything clearly in them anyway and the massive rear tyres mean they'd have to sit about 6 inches higher to see past them. Grosjean moved across the full width of the track in traffic, it's not like Kvyat snuck into his blindspot, he was in a predictable position and Grosjean suddenly cut across him
If Max Mosley cancelled the event in 1994...
I read somewhere that according to Italian law the race should have been canceled after Ratzenberger died which means Senna's death shouldn't have happened
The thing is, so much is made about Imola, and I love the track, specifically they talk about the tragedy of the 1994 weekend. There's no doubting that it shaped safety in modern F1, but was it the darkest weekend in F1 history? I'm not sure. The 1960 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps has the dubious distinction of being the only race where 2 drivers died in the same race. One of these drivers was Lotus driver Alan Stacey and it was because of this that his team mate (and future world champion) Jim Clark, who would win multiple races at the track, hated it. He never felt comfortable racing at Spa
Not gonna lie, as much as I love this channel, I stopped watching this video in about 1min cuz I really can’t stand the poor audio
The audio is not crisp 😳 What mic r u using?
get this guy a better mic.... it sounds like he's talking through a phone
4:29
u wot?
They should restore the old tamburello curve, I think with todays cars and tec pro barriers it should be save for todays F1.
Sorry, can’t watch it because of the audio
Imola will forever be the track that took Senna"s life
Williams will always be the team that took Senna from us.
@@jamesstewart1794 Or the FIA
I strongly insist that this track must be removed from F1 not because of the bad history regarding crashes but because it is absolutely boring with 1 corner for overtaking !!
Really? It is well known that Senna's driveshaft broke, you can clearly see it on the onboard view and Williams tried to cover it up. Do better research

How Controversy at Imola Changed F1 Forever
Fix your sound please
It is known what killed Senna, but because of statute of limitations, said people will never see jail or any punishment of any kind.
Lewis is definitely still alive because of the Halo
I would have been ok if they never went back after Sanna died. I still don't like this track.
Broken steering column. However , a tire barrier likely would have lessened the blow as well. The biggest what if in motorsports.
Please get a new microphone
Yeah toto you’ll come out of it iffyou take care of that magic carpet ride karma
