- We react to the Eurovision 2024 grand final jury show and share our predicted results. We also review our Top 3 favourites to win.
02:18 The Netherlands' singer Joost Klein was excluded from the jury final because of an ongoing investigation that now involves the police. We discuss how this could impact him with the juries.

Croatia could win the jury. There’s a few people who have said there’s rumblings of it. Even 2nd as well. So hopefully David beats Goliath tomorrow and it’s Zagreb 2025

If it involves the police, the situation has nothing to do with the ebu or the contest anymore. It’s down to Swedish law enforcement, and nothing can be done before the investigation concludes.
It’s sad and disappointing, but when in Sweden people have to uphold Swedish law.

Maybe I am being too dramatic, but at this point Baby Lasagna has become sth more - a ray of hope for every single loyal Eurovision fan who are sick of politics trying to ruin this competition every single year. We love Eurovision and we do not want to see it destroyed after 68 years

I don't know why it gets forgotten, maybe because it is too good and too deep for Eurovision. But Nemo also has quality song. Anway, my TOP is Nemo, Italy, Portugal. Those songs will stay with me after the contest.
Ukraine usually does better with the public than juries. This time, Ukraine chose an entry that should broadly appeal to both, but my feeling is that jurors are conscious of the fact that another Ukraine win would cause more people to question the integrity of the contest (attributing a high score to politics) and will therefore underrate it. I hope I'm wrong, cos the song and staging really are top-class!

For me, there are only two possible jury winners and that are Switzerland and France. Since France didn‘t give a 100% perfect performance, I lean towards Switzerland as the jury winner.
Nemo's and Sliman's voice cracked few times..there are far better woman singers on this competition
Sadly their voices cracked but let's hope it doesn't affect them too much. Otherwise it's gonna be some power ballad for sure. I think perhaps Ukraine, Israel or perhaps surprise Portugal just like it happened with North Macedonia in 2019? Sweden will be high as well.

We have taken note of the disqualification by the EBU. AVROTROS finds the disqualification disproportionate and is shocked by the decision. We deeply regret this.
An incident occurred after last Thursday's performance. Against clearly made agreements, Joost was filmed when he had just gotten off stage and had to rush to the greenroom. At that moment, Joost repeatedly indicated that he did not want to be filmed. This wasn’t respected. This led to a threatening movement from Joost towards the camera. Joost did not touch the camera woman. This incident was reported, followed by an investigation by the EBU and police.
Yesterday and today we consulted extensively with the EBU and proposed several solutions. Nevertheless, the EBU has still decided to disqualify Joost Klein. AVROTROS finds the penalty very heavy and disproportionate. We stand for good manners -let there be no misunderstanding about that- but in our view, an exclusion order is not proportional to this incident.
We are very disappointed and upset for the millions of fans who were so excited for tonight. What Joost brought to the Netherlands and Europe shouldn’t have ended this way.

Since it all started 3 months ago, BL has been the favorite, only the songs that tried to dethrone him have changed. Ukraine, France, Italy, then Europapa appeared, then Nemo, then Ireland and finally Israel came. You tried everything, from insinuating plagiarism, that he can't sing, that he's not good...but BL remained constant. And in all of that, he remained the same humble, decent boy from a small town in Croatia. No matter how it ends tomorrow, he won for us. 😻🇭🇷♥️

These three are delightful to observe. Their camaraderie is evident, and they seem to get along exceptionally well. Suzanne’s hands, with their neatly trimmed nails, are truly lovely. Interestingly, Cinan bears a resemblance to Suzanne, as if they could be related. 👍
Considering the event of Finland last year with a good jury result, Croatia could get an even better jury result with a similar song and better vocals that the prior.

I am reappy disappointed in Joost. Whatever happened, he should have been the bigger person. He represents not only himself, but the Netherlands. He holds Israel accountable in that matter, so he should have thought of this himself with his actions.

William 3:40 dear, are you concerned about the fairness of the jury? and what about jurors voting in the national finals of certain countries and then voting again during eurovision? isn't that also a form of bias? honestly, I'm not convinced by the expert jury selection process or the fairness of the results at all.

I'm not sure why the jurors would lower the Netherlands because of the situation. They would just have to rank them like normal, see Iceland 2021. No one's going to think they support violence just for voting fairly for him.

My opinion about the jury votes:
1. Switzerland - Nemo is beyond everyone, almost 100% of winning the juries. The most gifted guy in terms of vocals.
2. Ukraine - absolutely flawless vocals, very eurovision epic staging, catchy song.
3. Israel - we have just to agree that the song is probably the best and vocals are too. However, her live performance is not that flawless like ukrainian for example.
4 or 5. Croatia - flawless vocals, but the song is not really about vocals. It's the same tembro of the voice for the whole song. No way it could win the juries. However, it is still very good.
4 or 5. Portugal - this is just very very strong.
We have to agree that Israel song is the best? 🤣🤣 No one agrees exept proisraeli people on net. Average person with no political or patriot background doesnt have this song in his TOP10.

Acting as if he is THE "Superstar of the world" during the interviews for the advanced acts, interrupting everyone else and jumping up with his flag calling antisemitistic stuff when Eden Golan was asked questions is a horrible attitude.
