Hey...congrats on the 1986....MS69 is sweet....70's are like impossible ESPECIALLY for us small time graders ....still that is at least around $100...
submissions are too expensive with insurance and all....I myself only buy for the bullion aspect...GREAT video....COULD you imagine that '86 being an MS70?????...couple thou$and $$$$$$

Toning is an issue I'm still confused by is it seems that most local lcss treat them like cull coins and they give you less for liquidate your ASE but yet when you send them off to be graded some people really like.
Goes to show you there's a collector for everything 😊
    Love your channel

I've got several monster boxes , none of them have ever been touched, or removed from the original tube. What should they grade? UNCirculated 65+ ????

If they've truly never been opened most all 69s and 70s

@@SilverSeeker Well I bought them for bulk silver, I don't even know the dates on them, I bought them all about 7 years ago. I figure when the dollars dies I'll have something. I don't recall any cowboys in the 1880's with 1500 silver dollars being poor.

The nfc logo is on the bottom left side of the slab. I thought the same thing when I got my submission back.
Unfortunately I didn't think they were going to grade well for those unc eagles.
I'm happy you got that 70 back on the v75 added a few hundred more than a 69 would be.
Great video I've been Waiting for you to get them back

Curious how the V 75 getting a grade of 70 increases the value of them by how much over what they've going for now !!

In my opinion, you got 68s because I've been hearing a lot of people say PCGS doesnt like toners

Hey Butterfingers, don't sweat that 69 DCAM on the 75th Silver Medal. I sent in the 75th Silver Medal as well as the $25 75th Gold Coin. I also got 69 DCAM on the Silver Medal but 70 DCAM on the Gold Coin. My friend sent in 2 Silver Medals and both graded 69 DCAM. I also LOVE those toned "EDGES"....lol

In my experience, nicely toned ASE's don't matter much on the absolute grade - as most fall into the 67-68 category. They seem to sell for the quality & originality of toning. Awesome submission!

Look at the bright side, your best coin by far was the ‘86x which happened to be the one that got the MS69 grade. If you had to choose I’m sure that would have been the one you would have chosen to get the one and only 69 grade.

Acoording to google it's a grading scale- Coin grading is determined on a 70 point scale, with 1 being the lowest grade and 70 being the highest. For uncirculated or bullion Silver Eagles the highest grades awarded are PCGS MS70 and NGC MS 70
