I wish Eric would have let Carol just do her presentation without so many interruptions. I know he thinks he was being helpful, but I found it distracting and annoying.

Almost a 4 minute lead in is a bit much too. It feels stuck in tv time from the past, attempting to emulate that format with an intro & what not. Instead, they should embrace the raw & direct opportunity found in streaming as a new communication tool.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Carol, you are amazing! I've done many portraits in my our career, but I always struggled to get that likeness. I get it in the end, but I wind up with a lot of stress. I'm looking forward to learning from you, and how to do that with ease and grace?

Eric doesn't seem to understand that the original measurement is from the actual human model- like sight-size- then move onto the paper. He's making it much more confusing than it is. I am a beginner but I understood the original explanation better before all the interruptions. She really helped me understand something I've had trouble with as a novice. Sometimes it's better to let someone complete their thoughts before asking questions. Then go back and get clarity. Carol is an excellent teacher !

It would be nice if she were allowed to finish a comment before a question…save a question until after she discusses her point and THEN demonstrates and then a question. Harder to follow with so many starts and stops.

Would have been nice to hear this without the irritating questions. Everyone in the world got what she is talking about except you. This is the basic form of drawing, surely you should know that by now. Or at least you could have informed yourself ahead of time so that half of the presentation wasn’t spent listening to your repetitive questions.

Exactly. a person who didn’t understand would say - hmmm, maybe I will come back to this when I have the basics- or admit it’s over their head and move on. I come to this channel to get advanced teaching, if he continues to treat artists this way I won’t be returning.

This would have been a great video without the interruptions. It is not clear. Is this a video of a conversation between her and you or is this a presentation by an expert. All these interruptions undermine the presenter and devalues her as an experienced artist. It gives the impression that she is incapable of carrying on her presentation without all these interuptions. It brings into question abilities. He is taking up more air time than the guest presenter. I would not come back if I were her.

This was very difficult to watch. I was very interested in her approach and was enthusiastic to watch this video. These questions didn't make any sense. Her explanations were straight forward and easy to follow. There should be a follow up video to allow her to convey her method without frequent interruptions.

If someone cannot understand her lesson without the interruptions, they should not feel ashamed because learning is on a spectrum, but they r not ready for this particular challenge. I would avoid attempting to make every lesson/video/artist accessible for every viewer at any skill level.
