The funny thing about this video is that Chance, who's playing the city slicker, is the only HF member actually from out in the sticks, like miles down a dirt road, carry a machete with you when walking around the property sticks. But he does live in LA now, so it works.
Except for the fact that they call themselves a country band because 3 of them are from the deep south country backwoods. Adam Rupp & Rob are the only city boys in the group.
@@nightthornkvala94132 I'm well aware of their background, I've followed HF since the beginning. Also, why are you commenting on a post from a year ago?Are you just now discovering the internet? 🤣🤣
@@elkrain9546 Well, luv, not everyone is well aware of their background and not everyone has had the privilege of following them from the beginning. My statement is for the poor souls who maybe just discovered the finest gold on the internet.
Tim Foust is from southeast Texas and Austin Brown is from south Georgia. Austin spent his years in a college music program (on a full scholarship) trying to nullify his accent - when he joined Home Free they told him he could stop. However, in an interview Tim said for months after Austin first joined Austin would say something and the others would look at Tim to have him interpret it!
As one commentator once said, “The joke is Chance plays a city folk in this video, but the fact is, he came from a place so far back in the boonies that they had to pipe sunlight in.” - Loved the line.
Totally second that. If you are just listening to Butts Medley/remix it's stunning talent at it's best. If you watch and listen you will laugh your behind off. Gotta be on the list!!! Great reaction man, thanks!

At first, I only liked their non-country songs, but over the last few months I've been converted and like them all! Hillbilly Bone is now one of my most favorite songs on my daily playlist!
I love the out house part ! My great grandparents did not have running water in their house until the mid 1980s ! When we would visit , you had to use the out house when you had to go
Lots of fun with this song. Thanks for a great reaction. You have received a lot of information below so I will leave it there for now. So many songs to react to and many more to come.
Fantastic reaction! One of my favorite Home Free songs! Such a feel good song and vibe! And Tim well what can I say...... ok I found the word....HOT! 🔥😁 But let's be honest they all are. And so talented!!!
Great reaction! This song is #1 on my Home Free playlist. It just puts me in a great mood. You have so much great stuff to explore! I can't wait to watch it all. A couple of Johnny Cash covers you'll need to put in queue, "Ring of Fire," with guest Avi Kaplan, formerly the bass singer for Pentatonix, and "Folsom Prison Blues." I'd also suggest doing "End of the Road," a Boys II Men cover, and more funny ones like "Butts Remix," and their newest release is a Huey Lewis and the News cover of "Workin' For A Livin'".
Haha this is a good one. Love Tim’s low notes on this. What’s really funny is that Chance, the one who’s portraying the city slicker, is actually from the sticks of Alabama. Too funny. Tim is from Texas, Austin (redhead) is from Georgia. The beatboxer, Adam, and Rob, (glasses) are from Minnesota. They sing all genres of music and sing them well. Even though they can be goofballs the music is so good. Great reaction and I subscribed. Any song you pick will be good but I love Helplessly Hoping, I Can’t Outrun You, In the Blood, Die a Happy Man, Heaven. So many good ones. Enjoy!
It's not as "fun," but it's amazing... they collaborate with Lee Greenwood and the Singing Sergeants of the USAir Force to sing "God Bless the USA." Beautifully arranged and sung... brings tears most times.
I can't wait to see all your reactions!!!! If you think this was fun... 😄🤣👍👍 The only two I see are this one and "Man of Constant Sorrow" so yes, there is a whole list! For shits & grins, "Butts Remix," "Champagne Taste On a Beer Budget," "I Swear," and "All About that Bass" are the best. "All About that Bass" had an outtake video that is fantastic! For a few of my other favorites, check out "End of the Road." That'll impress anybody! Also "Honey, I'm Good" and "Elvira" are pretty damn good. Hope to see you soon!
Let me just tell you how much I thoroughly enjoy just watching you thru the entire video. I love your joy like a kid in a candy store soaking up the God given vocal talent of these special men. I yearn to see your response when you encounter their creator as I did. So I invite you at his behest to seek him. He has been calling you your entire life. He said "I stand at the door and knock if you open the door I will come into you and will fellowship with you and you with me". He paid the dearly for your salvation " For the joy that was set before him He (God) endured the cross despising its shame" please take Him up on his offer as time is running out. I love you D.
Enjoy being a home fry!! you’ll never be disappointed!! Start with “7 Bridges Rd.’; “Can’t Stop the Feeling”; “Folsom Prison Blues”; “How Great Thou Art”; “God Bless the USA” with Lee Greenwood and the US Air Force band; “American Pie” with Don McLean; and their latest release “Workin for a Livin” cover of Huey Lewis!! So, so many more!! Nice Reaction!!
Love that you found Home Free. I have been following them since they won "The Sing-Off" competition in 2013. I have been able to go to 6 concerts and have tickets for one in December. They are even more amazing live. Tim Foust, the bass, hits notes so low that they vibrate your chair and your body. The first time you experience it you are in shock. You can always tell who is at their first live concert with Home Free by their shocked reaction to those low bass notes. To see more of Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, I recommend this video of him doing a drum solo and more. He does this at every live concert. ua-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/v-deo.html
So far this one has declined my fair use reaction claim - and one more I cant think of right now - I will have to think of something if HomeFree is going to deny all videos....hmmmm
@@ReactionsbyD I know Blue Ain't your color, How Great thou Art and Elvira get hit pretty hard. At least thats what I've noticed. Once they went independent a few years back it got much easier.
Love your reaction. Home Free are something special, all right. D, you said this is your third reaction to Home Free, but your playlist only shows one other - Man of Constant Sorrow (which I saw and loved your reaction! Did the second one get taken down for some reason? Wanted to enjoy watching you react to it.
Hi, new subscriber here! Aren’t they amazing? Here’s some to try…”Band of Brothers,” “Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On,” “End of the Road,” “Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget,” “Still Havent Found What I’m Looking For,” “Elvira,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Bless The Broken Road,” “Dive Bar Saints,” “Country Road,” and one that you’ll find on Austin’s channel (Austin Brown) with he and Tim Foust with instruments. There is well over 100 videos on UA-cam for your to feast on, enjoy the journey!
Not sure what yer 2nd vid was --- seems it was blocked .... Contest it str8t up. TBH, nothing of HF's should be or get blocked. After all, we're all learning here!

They make you want to "jump into" these video and join in and just having the time of your live in a circle of friends.
You'd love Home Free singing Land of the Free for the cookout vibe.
Not to mention, that Jeep
The butts remix is one of the silliest they've done and it is also awesome.
