Randy was always athletic. Even on the road after shows he would go to nearby gyms to work out. He was physically fit and mentally strong. Even when Randy was in and out of consciousness he had a tremendous life strength. Tens of thousands of people prayed for his survival and for his rehabilitation. God is good.
A thumb button is an insult to a talent like Mr RANDY TRAVIS !! He deserves the Love button !! Randy had every race on earth voluntary listening to his music !! Think about that folks and tell me he didnt have talent !! LOVE ME SOME RANDY TRAVIS !! Also listen to the live uncut and rank it with the album version ! Both are perfect !! Musicians like Randy are fading fast to this new age country !
I agree completely. It's just a shame they have allowed the butchering of the lyrics in these videos. I'm actually rather shocked at how bad they are. I do little music videos and I know how difficult they are to make, but that doesn't excuse not even knowing what the lyrics are. God bless Randy (Ray) Travis for all he's been through. 💕
When Randy finally charted on the music scene, I knew instantly that he was the real thing. He wasn’t a plastic cowboy, he was genuine. Back in 2013, I too suffered from a stroke combined with a ruptured brain aneurysm and a spinal cord injury. Randy was my inspiration to fight! I’m disabled now unable to return to work. But I’m alive. Randy proved to be a fighter, just like me. Only people who have gone through what we have, will understand.
Yeah, I remember Randy was hooked on whiskey 40 years ago. He finally got sober and saved, did gospel music, and his voice was even better than before. At that point, he had stopped damaging his brain with alcohol. When he later fell off the wagon, it was too much because the booze affected his brain worse than before, doing worse damage. Well, it's good to focus on the present because if we don't we'll miss out on life. I love Randy's music. 🤗
Randy and Eddie Rabbit are the 2 who breathed new life into country and western music. Which is when it became country music and that was when the younger population started listening and playing country music. I well always love Randy Travis ❤
The first time I saw Randy, he had been booked at our local fair in Knoxville. But when the fair started he had hit it big. He had number 1 songs on the radio. There was the longest line I had ever seen for him lined down the road. They wouldn't let us all in, people went up on the hill, climbed over the fence & wall. They said Randy wouldn't perform until we left.Randy came out on stage , we had all went back & waited for him to start. The concert was stopped, but Randy put his foot down, he told them we where all welcome. I sat on top of the wall. He played the longest set I had ever saw at the fair. It was free with fair admission. He was so happy he literally cried talking to us that night. It was awesome. I saw him a dozen times over the years, but I'll never forget that first show at the fair. I've seen hundreds of people since, but no one has ever had a crowd like he did that September night.

I grew up listening to George & Tammy, Conway & Loretta, Dolly, all the greats, somewhere around the early 80’s, I felt like country music was changing and then in 1986 I saw Randy on tv and he had what the newer singers were missing, I felt like he brought real country music back and I will love him forever and ever and keep him in my prayers! Thank you Randy, God bless you always and forever.
Thank you Randy for restoring my faith. That through God all things are possible And love for country music again. Where that came from. Your voice is priceless.
I live in Marshville, North Carolina, the home of Randy Travis! I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago! He was so kind! I know he probably doesn't remember me, but I sure remember that meeting!
@Tim Mcgraw This is only my opinion and not to hurt or bring any harm to all the artist that are popular and dear to those that love them. Going back to artist of thr past the shows were more of their singing ability and not so much of the show they were putting on. And my opinion only they had better singing voices. I guess their stories spoke alot to the heart.
Beyond great, a voice like no other, fantastic songs! ALL OF THEM! Beautiful video, Fantastic clips of the GREAT Randy Travis, great background story. Left me very emotional. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you all who worked on this! Thank you Randy for all your beautiful songs! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm from Randy's hometown of Marshville, North Carolina. Grew up on the same road. Olive Branch Road headed north out of town. My mom and her sister grew up next door to Randy. They actually baby sat Randy and his siblings a few times back in the day. Not sure if he remembers Gloria and Carolyn Wright. Gloria is my mom.

Randy represents a better America a time that seems forever ago when we were just people that lived life and didn’t identify our identity tied to an ideology or political party. Ya sure people complained about stuff and nobody was perfect but it didn’t separate family or friends. I think we need to get back to that.
I am grateful for your likes and comments on my Official page.. Thanks for the love, care and supports toward me and my career i really appreciate it... i hope you are staying safe
I believe that his first "wife" is the one who started the rumor of Randy being gay ( and there is nothing wrong with being gay), I think it was her pushing Randy into having to marry her, that way she would be his manager and wife and have access to everything of his.
