Been a Bone fan for nearly 25 years growing up. I actually got to see them on tour with TLC at the Saint Augustine Amphitheater in Florida. When they performed this song I had a geek out and rapped every single lyric from start to end. I think I was the only one in row C that could do it lol. The whole song pretty much repeats the same progression which is:
E5/F# B(2nd inversion)/G# E5/A
I hold each chord for one measure (in 4/4) with the exception of the E5/A which is held for 1 1/2 measures. The 2nd half of that measure (beats 3 and 4) I play the "tagline" which are notes B, C# and E in both hands. The B and C# are 8th notes (beat 3) while the E is a quarter (beat 4).
