- Just bought a new 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road Double Cab Long Bed Premium, from Toyota of Gladstone. Just south of Portland, OR. My sales guy's name is Wendal Evans, great guy to work with. Got a good price offer and preferred financing from Toyota of Gladstone thanks to good credit score.

congrats! I just picked up a 2021 TRD off road manual transmission in silver sky metallic last week, been amazing so far.
I talked about getting a Tacoma like you my wife said no one's going to give it to you, so I broke down and got my 2021 ,4x4 and I smile all the time love it

Congratulations! I have a 2018 TRD Off Road. Hit 29k miles the other day and have loved every minute of it. Get all weather mats for the interior ASAP!! The most valuable upgrade ever.
Isnt that strange, in Canada the winter mats come with the vehicle, maybe its because we get a lot of crappy weather here.

I had 2003 tacoma and sold it for the cement 2021 was delayed from TX bc of snow but I will wait to get in it soon just like yours!!!

Congrat buddy and welcome to the Taco family I bought my 2019 quicksand TRD OR LB in Nov 2019 18K miles later with no issues I averaged about 19/20 mpg it’s also my first truck and I’m happy with it although I wish I had the sunroof though but rain or shine Taco will get it done 👍 subbed

Congratulations, that is my dream truck. I have an 06 4runner 4wd now and it off roads great. I test drove the 2021 SR 4x4 and it was great off road stock. Try not using locker and terrain control until you need to. Toyota’s are so capable. Very happy for you bro. You and your wife look like you in your mid 20’s. So happy for you my American brother.

Your Garage is packed! Your Taco is 31 inches longer compared to your pilot. I got a Manual Taco 21 TRD with 5 foot bed and it is 1.5 feet longer than the Land cruiser 100 series.

i’m like 80/20 on getting the LB over the SB- the main thing i have in mind is the saying about how no one ever wishes they had less space - what are your thoughts??
@@weston407 if you’re planning on off-roading a lot, the extra foot will be something to worry about (bottoming out). There’s plenty of DCLB guys that maneuver without any issue though. I personally like knowing I have that extra space (I’m 5’11 so I can sleep in the back just fine).

Congrats brotha!! I just picked up the same thing as you too but in magnetic gray!! Brand new Tacoma off road 4x4 longbed 🤙🏽 I got so lucky with mine, I hit up my guy for a Tacoma and he told me that there’s only one available (his client ended not picking it up due to getting unemployed) but he kept it as reserve in case of a scenario like a friend wanted a Tacoma (like me) could get it. And there I went, checked out and I got it for a good price 😁

I'm glad you're enjoying it. We picked up our 2021 TRD Offroad in January and we're having a blast. I've got rock sliders on order and we're thinking about a bumper/winch combo as it will go offroad a lot. If we decide to add anything after that we'll get it re-geared with 5.29's. These trucks have plenty of power; they're just geared way too tall which is why they shift so much at highway speeds.

Congratulations mate! I just purchased my new 2021 toyota tacoma last month. I got the same exactly package as you but I got it in a 5ft bed. It was exactly what I wanted. It was a must for me to get a sunroof. So far this truck been really good to me. I've always wanted a truck and like you said so many things gets in the way. Lol. About that heaviest I would suggest a ov tune. It'll fix that problem 😉

I miss my Tacoma everyday! My biggest complaint is lack of room for backseat passengers aka the nieces and nephews.
Buy another vehicle for them!
They have no rear seat room that's for sure.

I bought mine last month. 6 speed manual with all the bells and whistles and a factory lift package. Do I pay too much for it? Probably. Am I happy? You bet!

@@bebe0928 Thanks so much ! Well , a preorder is currently the ONLY way to go I guess .. as there is no inventory available at the dealerships near me ( they had a few basic SR5’s , 2WD lol 😂 ) so yeah they took my deposit and sent out the build sheet .

Congratulations on the Tacoma!!! I’m actually trying to find the very same cement color long bed TRD Off-Road right now in SoCal, with ZERO luck. In fact, there are no dealers near me with more than two Off-Roads (most only have one) and none with long beds. The chip shortage is really a drag right now. Oh well! Congrats I bought a 2021 trd off road wit tech package (sensors only) ... not the spec i wanted due to the pandemic ... $38k b4 taxes n fees ... for the acceleration there is a mod for the gas acceleration to boost it... FYI u can start the car remotely using the key fob (hitting the lock button three times ... Back to back then hold on the third time) or ur phone (if ur phone is connected - trail online/internet period for me) enjoy the tacoma bc I love mine

quick question for your tacoma did yours come with navigation included? Because I also have a 2021 tacoma TRD off road and for some reason I cannot get it working. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

I can relate to your excitement, I`ve had 6 new Tacoma`s and I have felt the same every time..Does your Tacoma not have a front camera..? I just bought my 2021 in November of last year and it is the Off Road Premium but its the short box which shouldn`t make a difference, Im interested in knowing if yours is different in the US then mine in Canada... You will have many many many miles of happiness and trouble free driving with your Tacoma.. Congrats and Happy Trails man..

Awesome truck! I'm currently deciding between a long-bed Tacoma or a Supercrew F150. Tough decision but I'm leaning towards the Tacoma!
It’s all case by case, but I recommended the Tacoma over the F150. I own a 2008 Tacoma and a 2019 F150 and the Tacoma does everything that I need to do. The F150 is more capable in every way, but it’s not necessary unless you’re work/lifestyle requires it. I love both of them, but the Tacoma definitely has more soul.

Have they corrected the seating position? I traded in my 2018 because I felt like I was sitting on the dang floor, and theres almost no adjustability. Most uncomfortable thing I ever drove.
They added 9 ways adjustable power seat in 2020
Yeah one of the drawbacks to the Tacoma is the seating position. With the addition of the standard power driver's seat that one can be adjusted up some but not going to get away from feeling like you're sitting on a skateboard.
