The fascinating part about Corey Taylor is how he's managed to survive through his messed up past and got to deal with it through music, there's something beautiful about it I think. As someone who looks up to Corey and find a lot of inspiration in his work, I'm glad he's here to be able to talk and make art about it. I didn't have even close to a similarly bad upbringing but I've always seen myself in his songs and I've gotten a lot of comfort from it. Knowing you're not alone can do wonders. Great review always!

Always see this song as someone finding there will to fight and stand up for themselves/people there care about. Understand it might not be the same for everyone, but I always see this as solider who's been getting beat at every engagement until they finally loose there shit and give it everything they've got. Maybe abit far fetch but that's the feeling I always get listening to this anyways class reaction keep it up guys

I love this song! Jammin' right along. edit to add: Sulfur is alchemical element that signifies Brimstone aka "Leviathan Cross". If you check out King Diamond's logo, the Leviathan Cross is part of it. There are a lot of King Diamond's songs worth checking out. He is also the lead singer of Mercyful Fate. Really the only hang up of reacting to a King Diamond song is that it's in the context of a concept album.

it's a bit off topic but there is a live-stream for wacken open air in germany .. at the moment they stream behemoth live .. not sure if i can put a link into my comment so i am telling you like this just go for the "https" thing .. add the words "stream", "wacken" and "com" and seperate those with dots. .. it's a high quality live concert watching opportunity .. never seen moments ..

Hey I'm a 48yo Metal head and I only heard Sulfur for the first time about a month ago. I even saw them live back many years ago with another artist but I never really cared for Slipknot. I'm big into the less commercial sounding stuff and I don't usually listen to the radio.
