    I really enjoy my RX10 M4 and have taken it on many trips when my full frame equipment was too bulky. BYW, IV is the Roman numeral for 4 because this is the fourth model of this design.

      Love the RX10 M4! Compact powerhouse, perfect for travel. IV for the win!

    The Canon RX 70 is fantastic. Very light and compact and produces excellent results with fast, reliable atofocus even in lower light. I shoot jpeg vivid at f5.6 in normal light and enable exp simulation, then using the top command dial set to shutter speed selection, its very quick and easy to set exactly the correct exposure with the histogram before taking the shot for perfect images and colour even when zoomed in. The video quality is superb also. I love this camera and just used it continuously on my recent 4 weeks in Japan. It is lighter and more compact than the others with a great zoom. Just buy it, you wont regret it!

    I've ad my Lumix FZ2500 since they came out years ago. A great camera but now has a 'fungi' growing inside the lens. Not worth getting it repaired so looking at alternatives. Had a Nikon P1000 for about a month but just too impractical size wise and the sensor is way too small. Thanks for the reviews. leaning towards the RX10 IV at this point.

    Why is the newer Nikon P950 not mentioned here? It solves size and issue and easily wins by zoom range compared to mentioned bridge cameras

    Does it really cost that much to get a real human to read the script? This is almost unlistenable, with the digital voice-over mangling the sensor sizes and focal ranges of the lenses.

    I have both the Canon SX60 and SX70. The 60 focused faster for me as the SX70 would often hunt focus. SX70 offers 4k video if that is important to you. SX60 is great and much cheaper now.

    I couldn't be more pleased with my Canon SX70 HS.
    totally suits my style .I'm all about wildlife ..birds .need it fast ..and zOom with ease.already got incredible prizes ..last night i had low light issues ..but I know light and shoot when and where it's best . I bought a wider strap and 3 extra batteries for nearly nothing. I didn't want a tiny camera ..I certainly don't have time or want to change and drag around megaphone sized lenses. I might buy 3 more so I can still have one 20 years from now when they don't make them. Everything Sony breaks..in their honor I got a 70 dollar 3 year extended insurance . 670. Total. Amazon.

    The top 5 are always these: 1: Sony RX10mkiv, 2: Panasonic FZ2500, 3:Canon SX70hs, 4: Panasonic FZ300, 5: Panasonic FZ80. Since none of these companies are updating their superzooms any more, and it appears they eventually won't be available any more, lists of "the best superzoom of 202X will be moot soon.

      You raise a valid point! While these are still great cameras, future-proofing can be tricky. What features are you prioritizing in a superzoom?

      3. lumix FZ300, 4. canon sx70hs.the Lumix has a 2.8 aperture even at 600mm, leica optics, 12 fps, faster AF , 4k video ,and is sharper. canon only has the bigger zoom.

    I have a Nikon b700 camera. use to make surfing films and photos. I need more fps. which would you recommend?

    • @Review_Set
      @Review_Set  5 місяців тому +1

      Nikon B700 is great! For high fps, the Sony RX10 IV or Panasonic FZ1000 II are awesome choices.

  • @HenriBourjade

    I like my Panasonic lumix DMC-FZ2000. The Sony RX10 IV is not affordable. For photographing very small birds from afar, the Nikon P1000 is interesting but it is heavy.

    • @Review_Set
      @Review_Set  7 місяців тому +1

      Smart choice! The FZ2000's reach is incredible, even for tiny feathered friends. Nikon P1000 might zoom further, but portability wins!

    It's hard to believe that many American UA-camrs don't know the Roman representation of numbers, e.g. I, II, III, IV, V for 1,2,3,4,5.
    So, Sony RX10 IV is Sony RX-10-4.
    I've even heard one say four-ex-four (4x4) instead of four by four!

    • @kylecain6685
      @kylecain6685 7 місяців тому +3

      I think the narration was generated by a computer program reading a script, and the program simply did not realize it was a Roman number.

      I have had the RX 10 for 3 years and I get several hours of hiking and shooting without putting much of a dent in the battery. No doubt the battery could be better but for my purposes - hiking and usually taking about 400-500 pics on an outing - it goes the distance and more, and you sure can't beat the quality of the pics.

    Olympus OM-5 with 14-150mm is easily the winner for compact and long zoom. Nothing comes close to that combo.
