Hey Miss Tina! 👋 I thought this one was so cute and very effective. Making it fun makes it so much easier to do. I think it would be a good one to use every shadow shade at least once in a year's time. I definitely know what PUUDD is. You were the reason that I became a proud Puuddite and still am. I agreeabout the mess! I think those tube topped sponge applicators should be outlawed! This economy with my husband now retired is even worse for us. I think you've done great this year. 👏 👏 👏 Tfs and I'll see you soon 🌈 🌻 🤗 😘 🥰
I'm working to figure out what projects I want to do next year that really helps me focus on my stash and using things up. I haven't had much time to think lately with life being so crazy! But I'll figure it out, even if I don't start right at Jan 1. The key is to just start--even if it's a little late.
Great job Tina! WOW! Am I amazed how long it takes to get through one of those Bath and Body works sprays! I hope you’re still at least enjoying it! Have a good one one my friend ❤️
@tinasbestmidlife honestly, I'm kind of tired of it. Lol. I think I'm just going to be done with it. It's not my favorite fragrance--I mean, I only have 2--but I've been using this so long and I just want to be done.
You did great! I agree, I don't throw out mascaras after 3 months, and I've never had a problem my whole life. This has been a cute and fun project. It sounds like the challenge with this particular project pan has been the tracking with usage. If you're like me, projects where we use it up/empty it is the way to go. You can just take a photo of the product LOL 😂 A panner that I enjoy watching is Rebeca. She does a rolling 10 PAN. The key is selecting products that you really like, that way you're motivated to use them up and not waste. If I'm selecting usage goals, it's usually because it's an old product that I'm worried is gonna go bad or it's not a favorite and I just want to get my money's worth so I plan to declutter it instead of emptying. And by the way I can't believe how long that fragrance mist lasted! One way I use mine is in my hair.
I think I might have to give up on the fragrance mist. The last few times I've worn it, my daughter has told me my perfume is SO strong. I wonder if it's gotten concentrated with age? I don't want to be that old lady who wears too much perfume and makes everyone's eyes water. LOL And yes, that's why I loved my PUUDD project so much. It was in the project, and when it was done, it was out. No tracking, no photos--easy peasy.
@@TinaHBeautifulJourney Oh that's interesting that it would have concentrated over time. This sounds like it's time to give it up. I know that it's that feeling of success when you totally empty something but what I do is call it finished LOL I have a lip gloss like that. I wanted to pan completely but I didn't want to take the stopper out and couldn't reach the bottom. When it takes 5 tries and begins to frustrate you that's how you know you finished that.
Kudos for finding a way to get the problem child mascara to work out! Ipsy sent me a similar one, Benefit's Fan Fest, which I like much better than Lash & Roll. That's a great panning benefit, when a second chance changes perspective. I like watching pan projects that aren't a huge struggle, just a bit of challenge-- where creators are enjoying their stash more in the process. Seasonal ones are fun-- your seasonal palette box was a great idea. I think a great pan should work with the way you wear normally makeup, with maybe a little stretch towards how you'd like to "up" that, if at all. If you took something like 50 Shades of Brown and cut it down, maybe it would work?
Good thoughts. I have found that I need minimal effort and maximum results to stay interested and engaged with the project. And monthly updates just aren't going to happen. Any project I do from now on will be every other month, or even quarterly updates. Never heard of a 50 shades of... I'll look into it. Thanks!
You have done so well! And your hair is looking particularly gorgeous today 😍
@@beautybydez thank you!

@pajamamama5965 yep. I used my other fragrance today and realized how much I'd missed it. Sea island citton is officially done.
@@TinaHBeautifulJourney Congratulations on finishing it! Now you can enjoy your other one :) I'm starting my new lip gloss today.
@@pajamamama5965 Yay!
Great job on using up products! Thanks for the shoutout!❤
Thanks, Gloria!
