Thanks for always being real, I was thinking of buying some of this for fun, but your description of the smell and water made me feel this might be a bit dangerous to handle. I'm glad you are always so honest in your reviews. :)
Thanks and I try. I do this because I really really love this hobby and hated buying bad paydirt, so best way to weed out those bad ones is to show them
I know this video is old but the diesel smell and the darkness of the dirt reminds me of beach sand in the gulf of mexico thats had multiple oil spills
The seller admitted it was from a diesel spill in his holding pond
cost of running low yield concentrate thru refinement is < cost of shipping low yield paydirt to market.
I had the same weight problems with the famous Gold Rush pay dirt bags from Parker Schnabel. They replied only once saying, "let me get this right, you say the bags did not weigh??" and that was the last I heard from them after repeated e-mails to them.
Sadly it seems weight is not an issue for a LOT of sellers who sell by weight. It to me is the worst offense a seller can do, because less dirt means less gold.
it's just not honest and what makes it more of a pisser is their lack of concern. No reply, they just don't seem to care.
I agree shortages really is just ripping people off. Whats worse it I don't think I have ever received a reply where a seller agreed it was wrong. They all say whats the difference as long as you found gold. But if that is true than that means the paydirt had ZERO natural gold in it, than it wouldn't matter if 1lb or 5lbs as only gold would be what they put in. However every bag I have bought that was short stated or implied the dirt had gold and maybe some was added but it did have naturally occurring gold. So less dirt means less natural gold, which means rip off.

Your Chanel is unique, I like it. I just wish you talked more about the weight of gold and returns you get from these things. I guess what I'm trying to say is, do you ever make a significant profit? Is it like a lottery? What's the most you've ever profited? Or is it all strictly for the fun of finding gold..
I agree, which is why all my new videos I do state the amount of gold found and final ROIs. This is just a fun hobby, because I used to go gold mining when I lived in Cali. Now I am stuck just buying paydirt online, lol. I have made a profit a few times but like a lottery it is rare. Iam glad iam not the only one that smelled Gas on that paydirt.. The last time i bought that paydirt i messaged the original guy that sold that paydirt..Witch when i first started he was great..When i spoke to him a while back he said there was a guy that was useing his picture on ebay.. I will message him and ask him if he is still selling.. Update will follow ..
Last I heard he went out of business, which isnt surprising considering how bad his customer service was and how bad his paydirt smelled.
My only compliant of your site is I have to go to your blog to see the final weights. Haven't been and won't go.
Sorry! The reason I don't put final weights and ROI is because I want my videos to be about the paydirt and the experience first, then ROI secondary. Since most bags are random or vary my results would be different than yours or another reviewers or customer. So my bunk bag could be your top ROI. However if I get a bag that is super challenging and that is what your looking for you will see that, then if you want to know the ROI go to my blog and read it.
Also I started the blog long before the youtube channel and I only started shooting videos because of requests. So youtube will always be my secondary site. I put way more info on my blog than I do here. Maybe one day will change but for now I like it like this.
So check out the blog, I have no pop ups or stuff like that. It only has one banner, so isn't an advertisement page with small articles.
As far as the smell. If it is from the coast there was a major oil spill the exon Valdes and the had to use a lot of degreaser to clean that up

This is just a mystery box, in gold dirt form. Every mystery box is a scam, where the sellar is charging premium price for lesser quality or quantity, and say its always a risk. Considering the workload and time cleaning the gold, its not acceptable to get less value in gold than value you paid.
Bad eBay seller don’t buy from them period. I’m experienced eBay seller and would never ever think of doing that to a customer. I mean come on at least throw some crap in the driveway in the bag and make it weigh. Good thing you made this video is others can get a heads up

I had the same issue with this paydirt....it came to me wet,was difficult to work with and smelled so badly of oil that it made me sick and I had to stop panning it for awhile. I won't buy it again.
Yea the smell is really bad. I usually save all my paydirt to use to run through miller tables and other gadgets I "try" to invent, but this stuff was so nasty I just bagged it and threw in the garbage.
I agree with you on what the description disclosure. Send what you say there is. Don't say blue but it's black. Be honest if not give me back my money.

If it's unsearched pay dirt then surely the weight is a big factor in your end yield..... From the sound of it, they're also lying about it being unsearched, if 4 lb has the same gold as 5 lb then it's clearly just diesel and dirt with a bit of gold planted in it...

Weight shortages are one of my very "BIG" pet peeves. Nobody would be happy if you paid for 5lbs of meat and only received 4. Yet some sellers seem to think that paydirt sold by weight shouldn't actually weigh what's stated. UGH!
So, how much was it worth??
Ya know, when mining if your equipment breaks down and spills oil (diesel, oil, hydraulic fluid) you cannot run that through a sluice, you'll lose all the gold. Now that said, if you have a lot of contaminated ground, but you know there's some gold in it... what do you do? Sell the pay dirt and let someone else do ALL the clean up work for you. And now you as the buyer must deal with diesel laden soil.
Then as a buyer you post a review about the horrible paydirt and the seller goes out of business. So it appears justice was served, and this seller sold enough bad paydirt he ended up having to close up shop.
ha ha customer opens bag and it reeks of diesel....

Nope never received anything. They did threaten to sue me though, lol. Then they went out of business.
Also, about Mikespaydirt.com...I deal with him all the time. Good dude and I always get great return of his product.. almost always pickers and nuggs...at least that's my experience with him...

In fact I have gotten more bad emails about Mikes Paydirt in the last 2 months than I have ever gotten about another seller. I even emailed Mike twice and again no reply. I did receive my paydirt I ordered on Black Friday but got a lot of emails of people who didn't receive xmas paydirt purchased. So will be an interesting review when I get to it.
What gem dealer was that shorted you in paydirt if you don't mind you can msg me. Btw they wanted ,$20 to ship a 3 ft piece of gutter.

nobody can Gurantee that this shit is unsearched.. NOBODY WASTE MONEY.
I am disabled so I couldnt go out to a local river if I wanted too. Also most local rivers will never produce enough gold to make it worth it. They have a saying where you load your 5k truck up with 5k worth of equipment, then spend $30 worth of gas and 8 hours of hard work to recover a few pennies of gold. Or you can buy a bag of paydirt and pan it out in the comfort of your home.

I agree! Almost everyone who starts posting videos on UA-cam improve over time. My new videos are not as long, less rambling (most of the time) and all videos include the final gold weight, profit/losses etc.
