- From the Delos CD: "Mozart TV", a collection of famous TV themes in the style of great composers. Again, no videos of any of this, but I wanted to post the tune, so offered a photo montage instead. It's a stretch to say this is in the style of Villa-Lobos, but it's a beautiful arrangement by Donald Fraser.
So sweet. Loved it Scott. Was always a great melody.
Many television shows in retrospect may seem silly silly and stupid, but sometimes the pervasiveness of their theme songs during a time in our lives elicits a powerful nostalgia many years later; not necessarily about the show, but of that era in our lives. Maybe this is why “Greatest Hits” albums are so popular as their music is not so much about the greatness of songs themselves, but they are powerful reminders to us of past times in our lives. As this song goes, Scott’s adaptation and delicate performance carries with it the transcendent elements which cause me to reflect on a wonderful time in my youth over 4 decades past where the possibilities of my life seemed endless. “Thanks for the Memories” 🤗🤗🌹🌹 is the sheet music available🤔
Here's Angela's Theme from TAXI, from Delos label's "Mozart TV" released many years ago. These were fun to do, and great arrangements by Donald Fraser.
Such a beautiful melody and Love the sweet tone. Thanks Scott for sharing ...
Very beautiful. Many years ago your book helped me a lot in learning the basics.

You're Pumping Nylon Scott ;) Beautifully played
Hi Scott, Really love this recording. Is there any where I can buy the arrangement? I would love to learn it with the Looper.
Very pretty. I was looking for the music to this but was unsuccessful. Do you know where I might find this arrangement in print?
Very Best. .. 😊😀😁/👍👌👋
There are some elements of Villa Lobos in the arr, some harmonies and probably those repeating chords in comp. Beautifull arr regardless.
buonissimo
