Huge Fan but, When is DJI or whoever going to, in software updates, to allow for return-to-home to be updated by the pilot according to the position of the controller? Or maybe you may know how with out landing?

Do you recommend using the Gain & Expo settings of the cine mode on my Mavic 3 classic?
I was a bit confused, is it just an app update om the remote ?, not firmware for the air 3 ?, I didn't see anything download when I turned on the remote and haven't flown for awhile.

Always great videos. Knowledge = Results. We do not film, we video. Plenty of correct words to use. In most cases it is not necessary to even identify what you are doing, being obvious. Filming and Digital Video require different skill sets and gear. Peace.
Language evolves. "Film" and "video" have been synonymous for a long time.
Hopefully you never set foot in a NLE because words like "cut" "track" "split" "mask" "trim" and "splice" would likely make you keel over!

Hi DM have you any information on the DJI goggles 2 not v2 I’ve recently bought a pair just the goggles not the motion controller to use with my mini 3 mini 4 and Mavic 3 classic trying to connect with them is ok but can’t take of as the screen is blank
I’ve been on to DJI and they say I can use them with the rc and goggles how you tried this yet

Not sure if you can help, I have the mini 2. I flew it the other day after a while, what I noticed is the expo gain has no effect..the drone yaws to fast and the gimble tilt is the same..to fast..no matter what I set it makes no difference..I'm lost as to why..thank you.
I've been watching your channel for a while now and finding them a great source of great information and help. I used to fly an original Mavic, but fell out with it a few years ago. But just purchased a Mini 4 Pro. Is there a way to install the Virtual Flight onto the RC-2 handset?. Thought it might be good to do a few simulations before taking to the air again ha ha
Would be cool but doesn't allow anything to be installed hopefully if we see a new RC PRO in the future that will allow it

I would film at a high frame rate, 4k60 and have shutter speed 1/120

Question hope to hear back before I buy. Getting a mini 4 pro, but was looking at the plus battery combo kit, I know I’ll have to register it, but someone was telling me that once it’s registered I cant use the smaller batteries inside the USA cuz it doesn’t remote id with them in, and it has to since it’s registered so that makes the smaller batteries useless if I bought them as extra?
You are correct. But if you get the plus battery combo kit (as I did), it won’t be a problem because you won’t have the small battery.
you recommend the all day ND pack but for a beginner, is there one or two filters you suggest as I am not sure I would use the all day pack

@ 8:01 - I can only go as low as 2.2mph in Cine with my air 3 with rc2. Firmware up to date.
I got my first drone in 2017. One day at the ranch it was super thick and low fog. Of course I had to fly in it. Foung the ceiling of the fog at about 320", played around a bit and then tried to descend..Yes tried, the drone thought the top of the fog was the ground and didn't want to let me fly through it.
When the flight duration is 20 minutes or more, the front motor of the drone becomes very hot. Do you know what is the reason? is this normal? Note that I replaced the propellers. My Drone is Air 3

Hello, I am brand new to drone photography and flying drones. I have the dji Mini 4 pro and I cant find anyone telling you exactly how to go through the part of the app that talks about Know before you fly with the different things you need to know on exactly what to do for brand new beginners before you just put your drone up in the air. Like a dont understand the whole process not the setting but the actual process of looking up your site and what every thing means like strong control, weak control etc. I guess how do you know what is an ok area to fly and what is the limits on altitude, etc... Im not making sense but Im just frustated I guess.. any help would be greatly apprciated
I tried using the active track height and distance settings, and they are nice to have. But I've found it safer to just use the sticks to adjust the height and positioning on the fly for each individual track if there are any obstacles at all.
Always remember, single tapping the RTH button will cancel any automated flight (tracking, waypoints, RTH, etc) if anything gets scary. Its much faster and more reliable than messing with the screen. Especially in any kind of panic moment.

I wish the zoom on my Air 3 was as smooth as my M3 when the zoom first kicks in. It's not huge but it kind of jumps in when starting to zoom. Years ago DJI let us control the zoom wheel reaction speed. I was hoping that control was back.

I was under the impression that all DJI drones in the latest firmware, will be hardware LOCKED to 120m max altitude no matter what.
I saw this from another youtuber who did a video on "de-certifying" the drone before 2024's new regulations.
Is it correct that you can STILL change the altitude to above 120 now?

I wish DJI would add these features for mini3 Pro instead of discriminating (and slowly deprecating) their ONE YEAR OLD drones.
With a company that develops so quickly, why would they pay any mind to what they consider "old". Be a waste of staff and resources.

Yep, same here. I've got money ready to be spent on DJI goggles, but ONLY if I can still use the RC2 controller.
I that the RC2 will output its screen video via the USB-C to HDMI. So anything with an HDMI input should work....

Obstacle avoidance isn't available in the dark, full stop. Whatever mode you're in it'll come up with that message once it gets too dark for the obstacle avoidance cameras
@@sambuckeridge7020 That's true. I reacted upon the message because it popped up when night mode was selected. OA stops working when light goes low. Will test what happens in night mode if there still is light enough.
@Stefan_Boerjesson If I remember correctly, from my experience OA works in all modes (unless you're in Sport mode ofc!) and only stops working once it gets too dark
If it’s low light or dark the obstacle avoidance sensors don’t work so be careful, the downward sensor should work as you have a light under the drone. The only time it won’t work in daylight is if you have sports mode activated or turned them off manually.
