get the fish on the reel and dont fight a fish far downstream like that first fish ,walk down or you will lose big trout, maybe not cutthroats but browns and rainbows for sure.Nice video looks fun.AKA prince is a great fly
I've only fished Idaho in a few spots and barely scratched the surface that Wyoming has to offer. I've fished some really fun areas right near that border and just over, but really depends on what you are looking for.
I was in Driggs, ID ealry October, fished the Teton river. Brought to net one afternoon, two nice Cutthroat. 18", 3 lbs and a 20" 4 lbs on the same dry fly, size 20 BWO parachute emerger. Two of the nicest fish in a row as I ever had the pleasure to release.
Good video friend , was just checking out your channel and i joined up
Thanks for watching. Went over and checked out some vids on yours as well. There is so much of Wyoming I still need to explore

I missed your title at first glance. Can you comment on the fishing between Wyoming and Idaho?

That's an amazing day. Wyoming and Idaho both have crazy good fishing.
Any reason In Particular that you’re fishing cutthroat on a double nymph rig? Is it really early/late season?
Not really. I usually just start with hopper dropper on most of my fishing outings unless I'm seeing active surface eats.
Where are you on the snake, South fork?
this is right of the road just north of jackson
A friend told me his philosophy on catching fish in waters loaded with white fish : It's a brown trout, until you find out that it isn't.
Lol. That seems pretty spot on.

GET ON UR REEL DUDE
That's probably the right way. Not a habit I'm used to.
