- Today we take a look at Derbyshire Police - St Mary's Wharf Enquiry Office, Prime Pkwy, Derby DE1 3AB.
Upon arrival we are impressed with how secure the place is. It was only by standing on a grass bank that you can see inside the grounds.
We try to ask the front desk about the opening hours but fail to get anyone to come so we take a look around the massive car park for illegal number plates which results in 2 finds.
We are then approached by 2 Plain Clothed constables who ask us to leave.
We finish the business and then mention the drone.
The drone then goes up.

I love how DJ Audits treats it as a public inspection. Which is totally legit, as any member of the public can visit these sites. Also I love how the majority go on the defensive and try to twist the truth and series of events. Especially when most aren’t interested in how to improve. Which proves why it’s so important to film, because many of them don’t like it because of their poor behaviour. You never lower your self to their standards and always act professional even as a member of the pubic. Keep up the good work mate, love the videos. I hope you get all the success you deserve. This is how all audits should go proffesionals done and educated .
I found this in the news today: "Police solved just over 5 per cent of burglaries last year compared with nearly 9.4 per cent in 2015, analysis of official statistics reveals".So I ask the Police "why do you waste public time with honest law abiding chaps with cameras? Get out there and help us public feel safe and be safe, this is what we pay you for."
How dare you expect the modern police to actually do any actual police work and enforce actual laws. Leave it out.

5 percent? That's wrong. I can't find that anywhere. That's way way too high. In my country, Denmark, it was 0,18% in 2016. The police basically solves nothing - compared to how many unsolved cases they have and the gargantuan amount of money they force out of us with agun to our head.
They focus on people driving 5 miles too fast...on the high way. Police, the most evil people we have on the planet - but not the only ones.
They are quick at your doorstep if your thoughts are showing facts, correct, truthful - displaying how evil the police are.

I wonder what % they actively tried to solve? Usually a crime number and maybe an officer comes out for a statement weeks after if your lucky.
They want a favour from you as "Don't film the cars that are in a public domain" but when you ask about being told about being informed about body worn cameras being on, they don't want to know and divert the question.
As always it's different rules for them.....they think.
Yes...... they are so concerned about their personal car registrations that they alter the letters and spacing to stand out and be identified easier.

I made a formal complaint to derbyshire police about your unfair arrest recently and just sent a message of thanks/praise to these two fine officers. I think people should do this more often to let the police know we do not like it when they act unprofessionally and we like it when they do,not only to support DJ but also to keep citizen/police relationships on a good note. @@scottchegg1355 I don’t know anything about that, and I don’t need to know anything about a persons history. I watch you tube for entertainment purposes and some people entertain me more than others. I like quirky different people who are able to voice their views, without being aggressive, but some people do like the more aggressive confrontational approach, it’s about choice, If I don’t like something I turn it off. I find the best videos are when someone goes out solo and stands up to authority and verbally uses the rule of of law to take a video.
You’re a straight boss when you do these audits and refreshing that they actually thanked you for teaching them. More people need to recognise they can learn new things from other people. Did get the impression that you humbled them throughout the interaction which changed they’re approach. Nice work as always
This was really interesting. You could see they were quite patient but in the way you would expect a contemptuous police officer to be. You can hear it in their voice. Even the guy who made an effort. Not a pass or a fail imo but you absolutely steamrolled this one.

always wondered how you can be a trespasser at a police station, it's a public place, paid for by the tax payer, if you haven't broken any law how can they trespass you from a public place just because they don't like you being there ?, i really don't see how that's their call to make, they don't own the land, we do.
It's not yours its the state's. You don't own a share in the state, it's an entity pretty much beyond the control of any individual. The state controls the police and if you mess with the state, it will use the police to get you.

As you said, it's very refreshing to hear two coppers being reasonable with a polite member of the public without thinking they are in some way better than you. My theory is that the police uniform does something to people when worn. Those guys were not in uniform and it maintained their sensibility to behave in the correct way towards another person. Another fine video.

Unusual isn't against the law, neither is suspicion, police need to understand our taxes pay for the cars/gear and buildings they use and we have the right to know how they are treated.
Aaaaaand, photography of their private vehicles number plates is not illegal, all it does is get certain police personnel's panties in a bunch.

I have always thought Focus Pocus is the best and Auditing Britain second but i believe DJ Audits has just about taken the top spot now. Its an incredible rise in a few months but DJ has put the work in. Respect to all auditors, stepping forward to protect citizens rights.👍
DJ is the best overall, excellent demeanour and is a natural at dealing with people and ensures that he is on the right side of right. Live free and the Geordie guy plus a few others are oiks.
These cops are all concerned about privacy etc etc but will go hands on, get your ID and trash your house on false information. Yes, these two were polite compared to other police officers but still copsplained, gave directives and repeated themselves.

Every Police Constable / Officer should be made to watch how these two gentlemen conduct themselves with members of the public. It really has made my day and restored my faith in knowing there are still some excellent people working within the Police Force. Well done PC Hope and colleague. If your going to be an auditor, you have to do your due diligence. DJ is all clued up with legislation, if your going to the right job you need the right tools 👍 given the public a lot of great information & educational experience, there’s a lot to learn from these types of auditors & well done DJ 💪🏻✊ thanks for what you do 👏 plus we have fun watching 😂
Its a bit unusual when officials don't know the law.
The entire area of Law is huge and so it is not surprising that individuals do not know all the specialist areas of law, such as drones, etc. Think of it like Medical Doctors which have a general knowledge but refer to specialists for more detailed knowledge, or if they don't know an answer, The same is true if you go to a Solicitors' practice, as they will cover only certain areas of law as individuals and a range as a group of individuals. Generally, most practices cover limited areas of Law, even as a group.

One thing I would say is be careful of the company that you are keeping. I unsubscribed to Live Free’s channel, despite loving his content for the disgusting threats he made to a woman. She might be no angel herself but there is no mitigating for the things he said. That said, keep up the great work mate.

the three points on the back of the station is the cells and the little fence and compound around the edge is a exercised yard (i know because iv been locked up there a few times) the staff there in custody treated me so well and very refreshing to see. i will have to comment on the front desk the wait time in there is stupid spamming the bell still dont make them come any faster. all in all your experience was standard. i found your channel last night and been watching all night i love your stuff

The gaps between letters and numbers on a number plate must be 11mm, and the spacing between two groups of characters must be 33mm. The law is very clear on this.
Unless you work for the police. You wont ticket yourself for your dodgy plate and if you do get pulled by other plod you just whip out your warrant card and all is ok.
