Good question - I did do a panning shot not featured in the video and it didn't have a jitter . But I agree Gimbal 100% for smooth follow tracking - I'll try sneak the panning handheld shot in this week's video !
Side question from someone thinking about getting the S1, how do you rate the 1080p60 footage compared to the 40k30? Does it drop off in quality? Also great content keep it up, you won't be on 60 subs for much longer!
Thanks for your comment and feedback - Af was on for the concrete footage but it struggled to track - for the uneven surface I manually focused, stopped to f5.6-7 and tried to keep the distance for focus.
Love the vivid colours- good idea taking it outside👌 fab results. And fab video content!
Thank you 😄 I tried to think of two terrains I may find myself walking on and possibly needing IBIS for stable footage.
Hello, thank you! Tell pls what camera and what lens did you use during shooting yourself at the begining of this video?
It’s the Panasonic S1 with the Sigma 50mm 1.4 😀
@@OliverReeve this sigma is for L mount?
I think gimbal is needed for tracking shots but for tripod like shots this works great. Can you do a test with panning? Does it jitter when you pan?

Thank you for your efforts but it was hard to watch/judge because it was totally out of focus.

Oliver Reeve I understand, I’m a S1 owner!
If in apsc the stability is best I found
