I stood in as a body double for him back in NYC a few years back. Absolutely one of the most kick ass people I ever met. Forget Hollywood, just a dude you want to kick back and watch sports over beer with.
Sat near Russ at a Penguins hockey game many years ago. Not close enough to have a conversation, but close enough to see that he is a very down to earth person. Thank goodness that Hollywood has not eaten his soul. Nothing but respect for him and his work.
Rusty seemed so calm and collected, and somehow all at exactly the same time he seemed to be having a lot of fun with this! Rusty's the first actor I've seen who managed to teach Ozzie Man some slang! How cool is that? Honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing the movie, too, now. Rusty did a great job of explaining the character he plays (quite intriguing), in such a way as to not give too many spoilers for the movie! Well done, Rusty, well done. ;)

I've seen Russell give the same answer when talking about the background of the priest in another interview and he must say it a lot but you wouldn't know it by the way his passion and enthusiasm comes through in his facial expression and excited speech.
