I cannot thank you ENOUGH for the app referal. My puppy is only 11 weeks and was refusing to eat and his stomache was gurgling extremely loud. An appointment would have taken days for us to wait for and this app really saved us and saved me the stresa. Thank you.
Thanks! Here I have a tip I would have never know if it didn't happen to me (did I say it right?) I just adopted a husky, 10 months and the prev families didn't take her on wals, within less than 2 days, she walked around 4 km and one of the paws got hurt since she wasn't used to it. Now she has a burn and we can't take her till it's better. Hope this helps someone!
Hi, Rachel. I love all your videos. They have been so helpful! Could you do video on ways to help a dog with anxiety. I have a rescue dog, who was hit by a car. They had to remove one of his eyes and have surgery on his jaw. That is how he ended up in the shelter. He is a nine year old mix terrier. The first month of bringing him home , he really didn't bark at all. Then he suddenly started barking Non stop. The barking is worse at nighy. The night time barking usually starts around 10-11p.m. He'll bark for at least two hours Non stop. It's a very short but loud bark. I finally tried putting him in his kennel, lock his door, and turn on a sound machine. That's the only way he won't bark. His behavior has become a little aggresive. I forgot to mention, the eye that wasn't removed has a film over his eyeball. I was told by a vet, he does not have cataracts. He still is such a loving dog,yet that has also changed to being a little aggresive. He had been at the shelter for one month, recovering from his surgeries, when I adopted him. I have a six year old female dog, who I had adopted a little more than a month, before I adopted him. He was so loving towards her and they would play together, now the way he plays is getting more aggressive. My other dog will run away from him because he doesn't know when to stop and he becomes to aggressive with her. I took him to the vet and she thinks he has anxiety and possible brain damage, from when he got hit by a car. She also aggressive that he has allergies. She put him in an ant-anxiety medicine for two weeks, to see if it helps him, but didn't prescribe anything for allergies. I would rather give him something Natural like CBD. What do you recommend I do to help him with his anxiety?
Hi Rachel! I love your advice you have helped me so much with my research. I'm getting a dog son and I'm wondering what Is the VERY first thing I should do when I bring my dog home?
Hi Rachel, I’ve found your videos incredibly useful. Thank you so much. I have a reactive dog that has aggressive behaviors at certain times. For example he will jump on top of my other dogs whenever I open a door, it doesn’t matter if he passed the door calmly he eventually “attacks” the first dog he sees. I say attack because he has never damaged the skin on my other dogs he sort of bites them on the back. I have no idea why this happens nor how to control the situation. If you could give me any tip I’ll be more than thankful.
Hi, I'm new to your channel. I just got a 6 week old Maremma/lab puppy and I'm watching your channel to learn how to take care of her. I tried getting food you suggested, but they won't give it to me until she's 3 months, can you recommend anything for the next 6 weeks? My other question is, is it safe to give her dog treats? One last thing, is it ever to soon to start training your puppy to do simple commands?
Hey Rachel thoughts on farmers dog with carb intake ? Is it low enough in carbs ? I know raw Is first choice but would you say this is the best second choice for dogs who won't eat raw ? Or is there a better brand ?
This video is SO helpful! 😍 I was wondering if you could clarify something for me. When you were talking about prevention I was thinking about a certain behaviour my dog does... he gets mad when me and my partner eat food. He'll start humping and attacking his bed. There are holes in it now. For prevention should I put him in the crate while we eat or should I put the bed away? I want to make sure I don't make things worse. I say YES, YES, YES to part 2! 👏
My dog jumps on our table and eats food when we arent around hes really smart and when we arent looking he just jumps up and i dont know how to prevent him from doing that
What to do? One of my too adorable cockaliers only wants to eat treats and hot dogs. And she throws fits moaning and stomping by the fridge or counter where treats are located.

How many treats can I feed my 9 pound Maltipoo when training? He is small.
YES I LOVE YOUR VIDEOSS

Ooops, I see you did link it!
You move from Austin?

My dog is very fussy doesn't eat treats or cookies no peanut butter 😕 hard to train
But my dog can’t wear the harness the whole time because , I have a puppy at home that can get stock with her teeth on the other dog
I keep my puppy on a house line with the handle cut off. Very thin leash and only about 5 feet long. She could care less about the leash.
That’s so sad about the shortage. Imagine pets who need urgent care or else 😓
I know, I hope it changes soon 🤞
Do you believe it’s okay to teach your dog to walk with and WITHOUT a leash??
My 1 year old is so stubborn she refuses to listen to anything. ☹
