You got yourself a new subscriber man. Clean process, real talk, and just pure love for handhelds. ROG Ally user here too!
I wanna learn how to give my ally 32 gigs of ram
What's your favorite between Ally and Legion Go? and why?
there is a safety 0ption in the bios on the LeGo that disables the power button and I think the battery power from flowing threw the system as well for when your opening the device
Dude this is so funny as I did the EXACT same thing about a week ago with same nvme, enclosure, and adapter. Honestly the best method for the Legion Go.
Not sure why you need to use an aftermarket imaging tool when there is one built into windows 11....just use the backup and restore option and create a system image, put your new blank ssd into the Go...boot windows11 from a stick and restore from the external drive...easy...
Did you break some lock clip while removing the back plate? 😄
Thanks for this video u earn another subscriber bro
Did this exact same thing to my Legion Go, but it seems to get extra toasty when I am playing AAA games on 30watts. So I turn the fan up to full speed
On my ROG Ally, I went with a WD NVME 2280 with a $15 adapter and it has worked perfectly since.
I was gonna do this but someone said that the inside of the console might get hotter cause the card takes up more space
I just upgraded my ps5 with a 4tb firecuda and took out the 2tb firecuda I had before but they both got the custom heat sinks that let's it run alot cooler. I kinda don't wanna remove the heat sink from my 2tb cause I think it's binded with thermal paste
But I wanna know if the ally can run faster on a full size m.2 since the small ones only run 3500mb vs my firecuda 7300mb per second
What’s your fav handheld device out legion go, steam deck, claw , and rog ally
That’s a tough one…still need to try a steamdeck and more time with the claw…I will be doing my long-term Legion GO review soon
Just subbed. I’m getting my ally soon
Ally is a great choice
