Your channel is OUTSTANDING man. The fact that you take the time to explain these installations to those of us who are less technically inclined is very much appreciated. I responded to your comment on my video this morning (thank you so much), but I'll share here: --- Okay this is amazing - 100% truth. This morning, I'm on my AM walk to Starbucks. I usually put on either YT video or an audiobook and listen. This morning's video was your outstanding guide; then I come back and you've commented on this video. Your channel is amazing; and so much appreciated by the much less technically inclined like me. THANK YOU for all you do man! --- Also, I left an overly critical comment on another of your videos, which actually came out of my own lack of understanding. I later edited the comment, but left the initial text -- the criticism was unwarranted, so my apologies again. Thanks! - Jeff
@ I was curious after playing around with this some , have you experienced issues where the server shutdown . It randomly happens . Do you possibly know what is causing it ? I am running ah bot and playerbot both on the server .
@kylebarbre3687 hmmm. I'm curious how frequently it's doing that. It's for sure not normal for it to drop. Is the world server dropping or both auth and world?
You Sir, are truly AMAZING person! So few guides in this world are this amazingly simple and helpful as yours. I wish you all the best in your life Mr Digital Scriptorium!! btw. is it possible to set it up for multiplayer so that i can invite friends to play also?
@@Digital-Scriptorium Perfect! i can just run it on my proxmox then. I got all the networking and firewall things already figured out, i just wasn't sure about the server software allowing multiple players - basically like a Very private server for just me and my friends lol . Thanks so much!
Respect for the great work. Your videos are simply explained and well-structured. Do you think it would be possible to set up a WotLK offline server on the Steam Deck?
If you're looking for solid TBC content this is for sure the way to go. AzerothCore and other 3.3.5 projects are going to be focused heavily on that content and might need a fresh coat of paint on other content.
You are alone but others could connect in if you configure it. As for bots you might need to check out the projects discord for that as things I believe have changed.
@Digital Scriptorium Man I really appreciate your videos. I want to make one of these but, like on a little bit more powerful pc so can have friends online and raid. Something that could support 50 players and some player bots to make the world feel more alive. I know I can get a used 2nd hand pc and beef up the drives and the ram. maybe one of these ryzen mini pc's again ty for the videos. As a matter of fact i have a ryzen 3 laptop with 16 gb of ddr4 ram and ssd. I am wondering also if i could run of these of one of those external ssd drives. If I can i will do that of and it has windows 11 on it.
A raspberry pi 4 or 5 can certainly do that job. It doesn't need very beefy hardware. I'd just recommend the 8 gb models so it can stretch its legs if need be. That being said my go to is a used Lenovo "tiny" m720q off of eBay.
@Digital-Scriptorium i edited my comment I think if I can I will run it off this laptop I do nothing with which tbc guide would you recommend for that pc
@@Digital-Scriptorium I have been doing a lot of research and and pricing. I may get a n100 mini pc for about 150$ usd as I want to run a plex server also i am trying my best to get the best bang for my buck. and use the the laptop when I am away to play around with the emulated wow server/s maybe I will wait and see what black friday has to offer. Because I really want to do this. I will not bother you no more with this. You have been most helpful and I thank you for that. I will looking forward to your next video. Ty Again Cheers
A raspberry pi is a little relatively low cost and low power computer that is highly customizable. Yes, you can do this on Windows as well which I have a video guide for.

It's all good and thank you! I look forward to your future videos :)
Thanks for all your hard work. Love seeing the pi used for WoW
No problem and I agree! More pi game server guides are on the horizon...

It happens every 2-3 hours sometimes less . And only the world server shutdown
@@kylebarbre3687 that is for sure odd. Do you have a world server log in the same directory as the world server?
Here to show support. Best follow along videos on UA-cam.

No problem! I'm happy they are helping people! Yes, it can be outward facing. You can check out the projects wiki/discord for more info on that.
@@Digital-Scriptorium so basically the installation is all good for multiplayer, just need to make it outward facing and when people join, all good?
@AkTheQ exactly. It requires some router configs or utilize Hamachi.

I'm sure it is possible. If I had a steam deck I would give it a shot but sadly I don't :(
wait what now?
a WoW Server on a Raspberry Pi?
what year is this again? this sounds amazing and like far future lol :D
Hahaha we have the technology now....
I think I gotta order a Raspberry Pi and figure this shit out cause I'm am dumb as brick but I love TBC.
You got this! :)
A great guide as always, do you recommend this CMangos 2.4.3 or ACore limited to this patch? What are the advantages? Thanks

Hi ty very much for this :-) when setup this are you alone on the game? if yes how to setup bots to clean all raids?
You are alone but others could connect in if you configure it. As for bots you might need to check out the projects discord for that as things I believe have changed.
thank you!
quick question. will this also provide the possibility to make changes myself ?
Absolutely!
How to change the Welcome to Countinued Massive Network message when u join the server to smth else?
It for sure can be edited but I can't remember where it's located in the configs. It might be worth checking on the projects discord.
@@Digital-Scriptorium Thx

Stupid question: But why doing a 2.4.3 when you can play it on a 3.5.5 server?
This 2.4.3 project is very devoted to fine tuning just this content. I think 3.3.5 servers haven't gone through TBC content with a fine toothed comb.
Question. What exactly is Raspberry Pi? Can I do all this on a standard windows PC?
A raspberry pi is a little relatively low cost and low power computer that is highly customizable. Yes, you can do this on Windows as well which I have a video guide for.
MoP server when? :)
Haha I've got the mop guides already but not for a raspberry pi. I don't think project skyfire is built to compile with ARM.
Is it multiplayer?
Yes it is!
@@Digital-Scriptorium thx for the raspebberry cause i forgot how to do it cause me and my team are making two servers for TBC
