@@Digital-Scriptorium When running the Generate process in CMake, I get a pop-up that says "Error in generation process, project files may be invalid". IT keeps repeating the same 2 errors over and over about a dozen times: CMake Error in src/server/database/CMakeLists.txt: Imported target "mysql" includes non-existent path "MYSQL_INCLUDE_DIR-NOTFOUND" in its INTERFACE_INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES. Possible reasons include: * The path was deleted, renamed, or moved to another location. * An install or uninstall procedure did not complete successfully. * The installation package was faulty and references files it does not provide. MySQL is installed and running. I have looked at the CMakeLists.txt files in both locations and I can't figure out what it's complaining about. Have you ever ran across something like this? It feels like it is missing a path variable or something, but all my paths were set correctly in the configuration step. I thought perhaps it may have been a false positive, so I continued with the build project step and it errored out when it came to creating the DBs. So for whatever reason it can't see my installation of MySQL. They only thing I did different from your default setup was I installed everything to the D drive instead of the C drive, but that shouldn't matter as long as everything is properly declared in the environment variables and such.

@@aristoblis are you installing this all on a different drive other then the C drive by chance?

If you run a clean before you build in visual studio does that help?

@@Christian-xp8xw you should be able to right click on "all builds" I believe it's called on the right and select clean. This would be in visual studio.

It for sure can be edited but I can't remember where it's located in the configs. It might be worth checking on the projects discord.

What version of ace/tao are you using?

my.ini file also not showing MySQL Server. I'm also using the 5.7 version

I got the ACE+TAO 7.1.0, and it compiled now.

@@pehebali1 glad to hear it! Yeah, Ace v8 is a problem. Vmangos is in the works of removing the need for it in general in the near future.

What's the VMware network settings set as? Try to bridge it.

@@TheCrazyscale it should have a network settings section on VMware fusion. Then set it to bridge mode. I can't remember the exact spot off of the top of my head but I can check later today.

@@Digital-Scriptorium Ahh, I now have a little bit of idea what you are mentioning. But I can not find any 'bridge' related stuff in network-setting page, maybe with different naming? hmmm. So my next step is... temporarily shut-down macos server, then revive windows vmangos server, set the solocraft config as 127 0 0 1, which looks easiest choice I can make. Will make an additional comment here if that works.

If you do a git pull where you initiated the git clone originally. Then run the cmake and visual studio steps again. After that kick the auth and world servers off again and they will auto update the database.

Thankfully you can just go into the DB's right click on them and select "drop" to delete them. Now this will purge all of your database data but you will not have to recompile. Once you fire up the auth and world servers they should rebuild the databases again. If you adjusted your realmlist SQL configs you will have to do that step again.

@@Digital-Scriptorium Hmm, for some reason that shit doesnt work, shadowmourne for example still has 200k stats. Im just very confused why it wouldnt have fixed it. I ran a query like this: UPDATE item_template SET `stat_value1` = `stat_value1` * 0 ;

@@Asbethin so you dropped all databases? Then the servers recreated them?

@@Digital-Scriptorium Yeah, but the items still seem to be effected. Im not sure if doing a complete wipe and starting back from the beginning would be the right course to go to fix it.

@@Asbethin o! Delete your client cache it could be showing it all wrong because of that.

Have you tried the built in playerbots with vmangos for 5 man instances?

@@Digital-Scriptorium vMangos have built-in bots? I didn't even notice that.... Does it have some workable AI strategies? I am fiddling with ike3's bots in AC 3.3.5 and they do dps/tank/heal, very smart. If it is like that then I should not have trouble playing with it. PS. I have downloaded a pre-compiled version of mangos zero from official website, installed it. I see bots but can't get them move like I did in AzerothCore 3.3.5.

Yes it does. Out of the box vmangos has player bots and battleground bots. The playerbots are only in your party and are not world bots. Anyhow, you can control them and set their roles. I'm hoping to make a video soon which will show off the basics with them.

@@Digital-Scriptorium and I am stuck at SQL itial setup. brew services list | grep mariadb mariadb stopped root ~/Library/LaunchAgents/homebrew.mxcl.mariadb.plist So I input this to force restart: brew services restart mariadb and after sudo mariadb-secure-installation, the following error, which seems like sql doesn't work, or conflicting with 'mysql' which I installed a few days ago. I thought I deleted it completely, maybe not... : ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) Enter current password for root (enter for none):

Does it not allow you to select start to image the USB drive?

@@ppeeetong do you have secure boot enabled in your BIOS? If so try disabling it.

Double check secure boot is disabled in your BIOS as that can potentially cause that.

If you had Windows on it before you can always reinstall it. I've got guides on Windows 10 and 11 if that helps.

@@allansmart5358 no worries! Yeah, you'll have to mash whatever your make/model machine needs to boot from a thumb drive.

Is this an external keyboard or a laptop keyboard? If it's external I would be curious if it works in specific ports. Like front USB headers or one's on the back and so on.

Hmm, try to run a clean and compile it one more time. At the very end of the compile process you should see the files and exe's mentioned. It might also give a warning on them.

I've had issues with some generic PS3 controllers.

@ cause I tried using Bluetooth but with ps5 but not work so I’m wondering if to get a wired controller for ps3

@@Moosegamez I for sure would go the wired route if it doesn't bother you.

@@Digital-Scriptorium yea I am cause it seemed to mess up with my Bluetooth in general on my machine

@@Moosegamez I would recommend checking out eBay for the legit PS3 controllers just to have peace of mind that you won't have issues.
