To be fair, they did add a bunch of stuff with the 1.1 update. Still feels weird to me that they take the mode offline for a week at the start of the new patch instead of just leaving the old one up. They are adding more shop items when the banner switches over, so it's kind of like a 3-week banner reset instead of the 6-week patch reset.
I think it's a good thing. ZZZ's hollow zero is weekly and that got tiring really quick doing at minimum 4 runs every week. By making every patch it gives people time to do it at their own pace, whether it's doing it all at the beginning/end, or spreading them out as they want.
They already up the rewards to 1k astrites. That's enough. The allure of illusive realm to me is after I clear all in the shop is I don't need to touch it until the next patch unless I want to. So I won't get tired of it. Imagine the game forcing me to do it just because it has weekly rewards, no I want to have my time instead. People are so out of touch of other's time. Not all people have all the time in the world and like what most people said here, it will gets tiring if it's a regular thing.
People getting hostile to 1.2, guys the mobile optimization is there or in my experience. Any other mobile players here too having a smooth performance 1.2 or just me?
Struggled to grind crystals. Lost 50/50 on Changli for Yanqing...i mean Lingyang. Almost gave in and pulled for Zhezhi for the cuteness. But Rimuru...i mean Shorekeeper is the goal.
Genshin gets so many dry patches like this but of course they see those as "ohh they are giving us time to save for future units, how generous of them". But in other games they see it as a problem
what? who? everyone in the genshin community complain about filler patches and asks for the dain patch every signle time after story is done, what people is complaining about in wuwa is that is too soon for a filler rn, wuwa launched 3 months ago and already on filler? people expected camelia and other characters already presented and they got people that wasnt even in the game story just appearing from nowhere, you would think they put the characters we already know that aint out yet or at least mentioned.

@@aziz-nationalhaq6511 filler content does not equal not spending, if a new unit you want is there or rerun why would a whale not roll for it even if the patch is dry, you are confusing two entirely different things, wuwa is doing fine on sales for this new character, not amazing or anything but is fine, one thing dont relate to the other, imagine jinshi reruns on a dry patch or yinlin, whats stopping people from login in just to grab the character and come back later when theres content, you can still complain patch is dry right?, your currency will get drained and even more if you are a new player because of course you didnt experience many events, the 2 characters are good and calcharo got powercreeped, you are not saving from the patch, you just got less content from it, again the patch being dry and how good is the new unit are two entirely different things, an absolute meta unit can come on a dry patch, this is a filler patch and has 2 new characters that have good kits not random reruns but with no good lasting content thats the problem, specially when wuwa patch time freames are bigger than hoyo, patches take longer to come so youll be stucked on dry content for longer without new content
Zhezhi is what you need if you want Resonance Skill buffer that has rotation as fast as Yinlin. Her combo not complex at all: Two string of Basic filled your Forte > Skill+Hold Basic > Spam Skill 3x > Liberation > Switch
Cute girls, nice homie, the game runs a lot better on my phone. And the management for the minigame is pretty nice. All in all, if this filler patch is this good? Then goddamn, give me more in the future.
VxV i could ramble on and on about need and want gachas and how you felt about HSR banners against games like genshin and wuwa, and maybe even ZZZ with all the billychads. but TLDR HSR isnt skill based cuz u cant dodge so its more predatory in the numbers chasing unlike games where you CAN dodge. in wuwa and genshin and zzz you can literally just save for whoever you WANT and not be predated by meta by NEEDING a unit. filler patches save the day.
Genshin and wuwa is zzz is still predatory terms of team building to beat a specific content. Zzz is like HSR but combat. The shiyu defence is like MOC which the last 3 levels requires you a specific team and specific units in the future if that happens.
I find zeshi kind of boring to play as. But, even getting to try xangli Yao after I thought I wouldn't like him, I think he's kind of fun. He's not overly flashy, but he feels like he'd be a decent sub DPS if built right. I joined Wuwa a bit late, so I missed pretty much everyone except changli lol. So as a newer player I'm happy about Xangli Yao being free, even though I have majority of the standard banner 5 stars (I'm only missing Mr sephiroth lmao)
Xiangli Yao is 100% a main dps, not subdps. Complete Calcharo powercreep even down to the damage type(electro liberation) and playstyle. Not going to build him due to lack of resources, already 30/30 on ToA, and he's a dude, but he's a good main dps.
I think it should be accepted that filler patches have always been good in any gacha. It’s for the sake of saving currency or resources. Wuwa 1.2 is more of a semi filler because zhezhi and xiangling yao are pivotal units to get, and most of us will be summoning or using a lot of resources to level them up.
Xiangli yao story was pretty and interesting for lore. He's very beautiful, his eyes are magnetic and rover's relationship with him is very particular. Some moments were even romantic. Zhezhi story quest was very interesting too, analyzing the artist's industry. We're lucky that xiangli is free, we will need to get only the gauntlets, which is 100 percent guaranteed. Shorekeeper in 1.3 will be a broken support. Save for her and good luck.
WuWa give you free 12 limited pull 12 standard pull 7 weapon pull every version (coral and login) If every version is like 42 days, 365/42 that means there is 8.6 versions in a year. Let's say it's 8 patch a year. That means: 248 pulls a year. Genshin give players 10 free pulls each month (star glitter).. 5 limited, 5 standard. In a year it will be 120 pulls. If we only count limited banner it would be 152 WuWa vs 60 Genshin. If we only talking about character pull it would still be 72 vs 60 a year. With that being said, I have no problem getting another 5 weapon pull though HAHAHA
If you got Zhezhi and you have Jinhsi, that’s a win. If you don’t have Jinhsi… um, that’s on you. I’m pretty pleased with her, myself, but yeah it’s gonna be rough saving for Shorekeeper. 😂

Recently, on Zhezhi banner, I tried to get few copy of Chixia because of how good she perform with Changli. On my fifty Pulls a 5* pop 😨Oh NOOOOOoooo😨 then it's was Encore coming home. 😅 Never try that again. (😏But you never know.)

Bruh, if you skip phase 2 due to the unit being free, you should be fine with Shorekeeper, at least S0. Also, Zhezhi is a great support for Jinhsi at the least, and great overall. In terms of actual gameplay, many have been comparing her to Yinlin. So complaining about her ruining your pity is such first-world problems.
as someone who only plays male character, wuwa is kinda dissappointing and didn´t add new males until now which will be a free unit so he will be weaker. I just want a male dps on jinshi level, also i don´t have jinlin because i hate her ult animation so my calcharo and soon xiangli yao are just not having good teammates

I also thought it's time for a filler patch so I can level up my characters and I have done that and I have absolutely zero shell credits and leveling materials after that (imagine if I had to pull for another character on this patch I wouldn't have any resources to even level it up plus xiangli Yao is free😮💨 ) also it's a good thing for us so we can save astrites for future characters

Sry but in wich universe is Zhezhi "lackluster"? Only that we are on the same page to me lackluster means if a units kit feels unfinished or it's either lacking in something. People can find her boring but saying she is lackluster is just plain and simply wrong. Her kit dosen't feel in any kind unfinished like with a lof of Genshin's 5*. On that note i think a lot people just disregard her because she isn't this "dommy mommy" character like Yinlin and Changli are. Even with Jinhsi despite her being this strong people didn't really payed that much attention or talked about her.

So far i absolutely have loved the game but the resources in this game is awful. Ive bought all the battle passes and doing 2 refreshes a day on energy and i still don't even have 4 chacters maxed with level and weapon level. Much less leveling up the skill tree. Which takes weeks for each charcter.
Yeah, she is also fun. And while she is not a huge improvement, she is the best sub-DPS for the best team, so she is certainly meta. And she has a lot of future potential. I don't regret getting her. That said... If you are f2p, I would still advise trying to save enough for Shorekeeper, since she seems to ba a better support than Verina. (Heck, even a 2nd Verina would already be worth it, even is she isn't improvement in any way.)
I find it funny how you can't skip units in HSR when I'm the exact opposite To HSR Devs: where are our OP SS tier DPS men? Imo they should at least release 1 OP dps meta man for each 2 OP meta dps women, because if half the population (straight women, lgbt+ people who are into men) can't get characters they like to play as their main damage dealers, we are gonna start quitting and going to other games (Wuwa for everyone and Lads for the ladies) Wuwa on the other hand is looking very fine and I find it hard to skip anyone, since the playstyles are more interactive and different / unique. Sadly HSR women and letter mafia are less than 5% the player base not 50%. So they only cater to them 5% of the time. Remember it is all about the $ and most male characters don't sell well. Even as amazing as Luocha was he sold awfully.

i can now play it my pixel 6 (just for my dailies at 30fps). And that phone is hot garbage for games.

The problem is the "FILLER" patch Story is so good... It doesn't feel like a filler patch... Skippers can't relate....

So far i absolutely have loved the game but the resources in this game is awful. Ive bought all the battle passes and doing 2 refreshes a day on energy and i still don't even have 4 chacters maxed with level and weapon level. Much less leveling up the skill tree. Which takes weeks for each charcter.

Yeah, she is also fun. And while she is not a huge improvement, she is the best sub-DPS for the best team, so she is certainly meta. And she has a lot of future potential. I don't regret getting her.
That said... If you are f2p, I would still advise trying to save enough for Shorekeeper, since she seems to ba a better support than Verina. (Heck, even a 2nd Verina would already be worth it, even is she isn't improvement in any way.)

Imo they should at least release 1 OP dps meta man for each 2 OP meta dps women, because if half the population (straight women, lgbt+ people who are into men) can't get characters they like to play as their main damage dealers, we are gonna start quitting and going to other games (Wuwa for everyone and Lads for the ladies)
Wuwa on the other hand is looking very fine and I find it hard to skip anyone, since the playstyles are more interactive and different / unique.
Skipping Zhezhi though, since I don't vibe with her personality and aesthetic / playstyle. Added everyone else to my collection thus far!
Also: we are getting Xiangli Yao for free which is a huge W!
Meanwhile HSR is about to powercreep the only decent male DPS by a new waifu next patch (rip dr Ratio. Won't stop me from maining him, but still annoying)
Also, Boothill got the short end of the stick (didn't pull for him since I didn't vibe with his playstyle, but seeing him getting powercrept by Firefloof 3 weeks later was crazy and I feel bad for people who like him and pulled for him)

Sadly HSR women and letter mafia are less than 5% the player base not 50%. So they only cater to them 5% of the time. Remember it is all about the $ and most male characters don't sell well. Even as amazing as Luocha was he sold awfully.

Why is everyone glazing a dead patch? The game is in 1.2 and we literally have nothing. It's giving Genshin but worse now! After 4.0 and 5.0! : D ZZZ 1.0 has more content combined than Wuwa 1.0 1.1 and 1.2

@@Soparandom ZZZ 1.1 was basically a filler patch. But they added a lot of quality of life and more PERMANENT combat content, and Qingyi. illusive realm is a joke, there is NOTHING to do in WuWa. A filler patch in WuWa is just like genshins. Events and 2 new 5 star characters.
