  • hello friends,
Here's the newest 'learn hakka with me'. It has been a while since I made one. I hope this one is insightful, educational and fun. I definitely discovered some things as I let me brain tap into the Hakka language. I wish you a great day ahead. If you have any suggestions for future videos, let me know.
    Sending love,
    M.

My dad's side speaks Hakka but they never taught me so I couldn't speak (still understand what they say, tho) and now I'm slowly going back to learn about my Chinese heritage. My suggestion is that it would be great if you can insert pinyin or the words you talked about in the description or on the video so we can review again later and easier. I just discovered your channel and I really like how friendly you are in each vid xD

Learning Hakka from your videos! I'm a half-Hakka from Myanmar. Although my grandma was born in Guangdong, she only remembers some Hakka words. Thanks for your videos!

Lí hó, Mimi. To-siā for this video. So, I've learned a lot of phrases in Hakka, but now I want to actually "type" it....where can I find a keyboard that supports Hakka input?

Hello! From what I know, there's no standardized written format for hakka unfortunately. I recommend the youtube channel Hakka Studies, they often teach Hakka including chinese characters. maybe that will give you some idea. Thanks for watching!

It would be nice if you could add the words in Chinese characters as well as romanized (with the tones, to be sure)
