Quick question,would bad abs sensors or anything bad abs components might cause a misfires involving a p1250 code since the tack can’t read right
I have the three dashboard lights illuminated and the / speedo and tacho are not working on a UK car. Which side, left or right, is more likely to have a faulty sensor? I ask because the driver's side is mentioned, but in the UK the driver sits on the right.
Also I have a parasitic battery drain (the battery will go flat in 2 or 3 days if the car is not used), but I'd guess that this is unrelated. Any opinions? It's a 2002 330d with very low mileage. Thanks.

Great Video. Can you give me some advise? My e46 is not communicating with any Abs issues have also been to local garage to read the codes but even they can not get it to communicate on their scantools.
I have abs, handbrake and Asc lights on have lost cruice controll, speedo and abs system won't kick in if I do an emergency stop.

Good timing, gonna have to get in to my car tomorrow. ABS light, brake light, etc, all came on, I kinda ignored it for a bit, but not I lost my speedometer. Fun stuff.

I have "chassis stablization malfunction" and "ftm malfunction" I read that wheelspeed sensor issue is a possibility (which makes sense in my mind). Found this video, wow. What a wealth of knowledge being shared in this video. I think I'll leave it to the pro's though ;-)
I am currently diagnosing a 1998 M3 E36 with an ASC and ABS light on. Trouble codes for both front wheel speed sensors. Watching live data from the Maxisys 906BT all four WSS operate properly with no dropouts until about 12 mph and the data just disappears, basically I lose connectivity just to that module. Have to shut the car off and rescan, this resets and I can see the ABS ASC trouble codes and live data again. Any suggestions? Has anyone experienced this issue?

I have e39 523i 1999, (driven 300 000 km). I have a problem: 1) abs light is on, 2) asc light is on, 3) speedmeter does not work, 4) but cruise control works, 5) fuel consumption meter does not work. Error code was left rear abs censor no signal and it was replaced but the problem didn't solved. What is wrong? What is propability that abs module gone bad?

Andriy Selezen Probably impossible to diagnose wich sensor that is bad without a Scan tool. Bought the c310 last week and it works great. 100% worth the investment
Rasmus Ahlblom it is possible and there are plenty of videos about it on UA-cam. My point is calling a video Diagnose the sensor without the actual diagnose showing is like claiming that he fucked a hot girl when for real he just mastrubated when thinking about her. It is not the same thing and it's called a bullshitting
interesting paralel there. I wouldn't acuse him of bullshiting tho. He did tell you the best way to diagnose bad abs sensor wich is with a bmw scanner
Rasmus Ahlblom scanners can not diagnose. Human do the diagnostic. And if scanned pointing you at specific sensor you need to diagnose if it's the sensor, or bad connection, or wiring, or computer, or mechanical issue. And he didn't show anything of that. I appreciate the removal part it was helpful but the diagnose part is a bullshit
The scanner can show wich sensor that is doing bad wich is a big part of the diagnostic. He also shows what can make the sensor do bad readings. dirt, bad connection etc. Its like every diagnostic you have to know around the abs wheel sensor wich is the title of the video.

Dude you ramble nonstop, and this video didn't tell you how to diagnose the wheel sensors. You spent 9 minutes talking about literally nothing, then said "The wheel on the axle might be dirty, or the plug might be corroded".
