How to Hand Sew a Plush Mushroom Figure - DIY Tutorial

- Make your own mushroom plush…then make a whole cluster of mushrooms!
This is a great sewing project to use up little scrap pieces. (You can even stuff these with tiny scraps instead of fiber fill!)
I used linen for the stem and gills, and a raw silk suiting for the top of the cap. In addition to fabric, you will also need embroidery floss or thread, a needle, scissors, and fiber fill (or scrap fabrics). The pattern I’m using is available as a free printable at my website, here:

Don't throw away those tiny scraps!! This is the perfect, eco-friendly craft project as it allows you to use up scraps of fabric that you might otherwise be tempted to toss. You can also play with the size of the pattern to make a variety of different little mushrooms. Attach a loop of ribbon at the top to create an ornament!

I loved this! I would love for you to create one in the style like ‘Little Books, and Sigita.’ I could not for the life of me figure out how they made those? They both verbally tell how they made ‘em, but it’s not clear enough details to figure out the exact stitches used or how they made their awesome stems?? I just wish I could find help so I could make them. Neither one of them respond to their comments, so maybe I’ll get lucky and you’ll read this and check it out and maybe you could make a video I would be on cloud 10 if that happened. Nonetheless, I really appreciated the video you did post it was very detailed easy to follow and I had fun making the one you posted. Thanks again
