One of my absolute favorite things about goblin/gremlincore is the fact that imperfection is not only accepted, but celebrated! I think that your hat is possibly one of the cutest versions of them that I've seen. Using up all those makeup pads to make the little moth was freaking genius, and now I kinda want to make some myself XD As for suggestions for more projects, I have seen a lot of goblin/gremlincore/fairycore diys that center around frogs and the occasional toad, but nothing about newts, salamanders, or axolotls - would that be something you'd be interested in doing?

I'm goblincore and cottagegore together.. I see them more as subcultures then an aesthetic. When I move out of my mom's house- it's over. I am living my goblincore/ cottagegore life.. I will be my southern gothic self... and I'll make it all a lifestyle

Ehh, debatable. I think the lockdown rise and fall in popularity of cottagecore kinda showed that as a lifestyle, it's not that sustainable. It's an idealisation of country living as something very neat and clean and pretty. Truth is country living is bloody difficult and not clean at all. You can't get by frolicking about in prairie dresses, pressing flowers and cooking sourdough bread. Sooner or later if you want to survive in the country, you have to roll up your sleeves, put on your grimy wellies and shovel some cowshit

ModPodge makes hot glue finger covers you can get that come in a set that just cover the tips of your fingers that you're using. They are specifically designed for hot glues and protect your fingers so you don't only just not burn them but you can actually use your fingers to push down parts with out risk. They also do not coat. So the glue won't build up on them and just comes right off. Highly recommend

I love goblin/gremlincore because nothing has to be perfect and even- isn’t supposed to be perfect! I’ve recently bought some things to really get into the style. I will 100% be moving to a more “me” area (forest or just a place with a lot of trees) I live near a few but not nearly close enough . Love this aesthetic- no- lifestyle… RELIGION…

The moth doll looks so cute ❤ You burned your fingers a lot, maybe try crafting in gloves or some other kind of protection? 😅 You asked for some feedback in what to show us next and I thought maybe you can make some crafts with use of dried, pressed flowers? 🌷 I collect beautiful flower petals and dries them, but also I don't know what creative I can do with them 🦋
