@@decentcoffeeeveryday been there and done it with the PID etc , absolute waste of time. IU is the way to go, completely changes the machine. Your Gaggia will soon sound like your decent LOL. It’s a fun build, do plenty reading up and prepare for it. Go for PCB V3 instead of LEGO Build.
I wasnt impressed when i unboxed my gaggai... number the steam wand was solid also the basket in the postifikter wasnt solid.. i dunno just expected it better sturdier make

you added hot water into the milk when you didn't turn on steam correctly :) which is why the milk was thin I think
I have a 12 year old gaggia classic running Gaggiuino mod and it’s amazing! If i was you, id go straight to IU mod.

I don't understand the aluminium boiler.
A former version of the Gaggia Pro had a stainless steel boiler.
Surely a good idea for the next version.

Well the difference is aluminum is horrible heavy metal for the body would love the stainless steel back
