Thank you for putting Nigeria on the spot. The more people expose Nigerian incompetence, the more Nigerians MAY be shamed and feel compelled to start running Nigeria like a civilised society where orderliness, decipline, basic ettiquette and the rule of law and order reign supreme.
Coming back to Nigeria after 3 decades, it was very shocking to find Nigeria being run way worse than described in this video. I never knew that there's a country in the world run so unconventionally. Pretty soon, other governments in Africa, including overseas will start asking the Nigerian government, "WHAT'S GONE WRONG WITH YOU"? Then they MAY start acting right, hopefully!

There's scarcity of everything from gasoline to genuine grocery store essential commodities to bank notes. Even electricity supply is very eratic to the extent that some people go a whole week without electricity.
In addition to the above, electricity generator poluted air is the disgusting air that people inhale all across Nigeria, including the rich. Quality drinking water, except bottle water is non existent and the lists goes on. How many countries is the rule of law and order, including basic etiquette and discipline completely lacking, to the extent that its citizens drive againt the flow of traffic on a major freeway.
In addition to the above, they run red lights 99% of the time, do 60 in a residential neighborhood, drive on pedestrian sidewalks, create extra lanes where non previously existed and drive dangerously and recklessly because in addition to the fact that the rule of law and order is absolutely irrelevant, a compulsory national standardized driving class is non existent and the lists goes on....................

As a Kenyan i think you've put a bit too much sugar on the praises of kenya. Our drivers are not as good as you say especially the matatu drivers. If you mess around they will even create 4 lanes in a two way road and block all the cars coming from the opposite direction. Apart from them the other drivers are decent but they too have their bad ways. We still need to improve and hopefully we will.

A comparative assessment of Nigeria's urban traffic system with other countries in Africa is in order as that could offer opportunity for improvement where there are defects, but to insinuate that Nigerians should not be put in charge of anything because of pitfalls in her urban traffic system is to say the least unacceptable. Your motive in this respect is doubtful and perhaps sinister.

You're picking just one thing out of pretty much everything that Nigeria doesn't do right in comparison to the rest of the world. I wouldn't want to go into all the details because I don't want to bore the readers.
To mention but a few, driving on pedestrian sidewalks, running red light like there's no POLICE 🚨, doing 3 times the speed limit in a residential neighborhood, creating extra lanes where none existed, driving recklessly, throwing bear cans and all sorts of rubbish or trash from moving vehicles, driving against the flow of traffic on a one way minor or major freeway and the lists goes on
A lot of people might say wait a minute, all these has happened in my country, perpetrated by mostly drunk drivers. However, in your country it happens about 5% of the time, while in Nigeria these things takes place 99% of the time by sober Nigerians. Infact, Nigeria is leaderless like and the rule of law and order is completely irrelevant. Not even Nigerians who're either born overseas or have lived 2 or more decades overseas can handle living in Nigeria

I'm a Nigerian and I agree with everything in this video. I had lived most of my life outside of Nigeria, 3 decades to be exact. However, I return to a country with the above description. It was a shock to know that there's a country on planet earth that's being run so disorderly, without basic etiquette, lawlesly, and without respect for neighbor's right to dwell peacefully.
Abuja roads are definitely the most dangerous in Nigeria. However, you probably didn't drive on some really dangerous major freeways and minor ways in Abuja where motorists and motorcyclists drive on the wrong direction of traffic flow and this is not only common in Abuja but all across Nigeria. Unfortunately, it's implicitly legal by Nigeria's standards of road safety. It's indeed a very tearful condition for me and it's making me reconsider my plan to settle here.
In a nutshell, Nigeria is a completely disorderly society and a failed state and it's run like there's no leadership. Almost no one follows the rule of law, neither law enforcement agents nor the leaders of the country.

Point of correction: Kenya is not a 3rd world country but a lower-middle-income economy.

Would like to know 2 things.
    1. The experience you had with common man.
(In Kenya, common man is 'mwananchi', owner of the land but we have the 'false land owners' the plunderers of our wealth! We call them 'wenye nchi' both words are similar 'owners of the land' but the thiefs in there corruption dictate the terms here albeit the fact that the latter were asleep but now awake!
So what's your experience with the common peaople?
    2. Your take on nightlife in Nairobi? The hype, the hvpe, man the hype

we don't need your commendation to make Abuja a better city....
Is funny to see these citizens from other Africa countries trying everything possible to under rate Naija.... You Kenyans and Ghanaians with your one City, you like to compare yourself with Naija....ask a Kenyan or Ghanaian to mention cities in their countries....they have nothing than Nairobi or Accra.
      While Naija has several cities
      Abuja
      Lagos
      Benin city
      Port Harcourt
      Enugu
      Owerri
      Kano
      Kaduna
      Calaba
Uyo Etc 😅😅😅😅. Keep your one City to yourself.
Everything in life Naija is ahead of you all..is it
Football (we ve won more trophy you all)
      Basketball (Afro basket)
      Music (Afrobeat)
      Film making (Nollywood)
      Skit
      Standup comedy
      Political influence
      Population
      Diaspora Remittance
Economy ( the last time NAIJA closed its borders; Ghana, Cameroon, Niger ect started to cry...yet dey don't want to give Naija the respect it duelling deserves)
No country has sell Africa to the world like Naija, if there is any, please mention and bring you proof.😅😅😅😅
We don't need you to be important, but you do need us to be important.😅 Like Ghana crying for Naija support.😅😅
