*Dave and Lemmy exchange glances and laugh*
+Humza Ahmed And the laugh Lemmy gives Dave at the end of the intro, to quote another comment I saw, is like he just said 'Yep, it's confirmed. This guy's an asshole.'
+Humza Ahmed lmaooo
Getting all this attention from this post just brings me to tears thinking about the loss of one of the greatest warriors in rock. The king of rock, if you will. RIP Lemmy. You legend.
Yeah that made me laugh. Love their reaction.
+Humza Ahmed I LOLD so hard at that, hahahahaha
I love theses guys so much. Miss you Lemmy. Rest in peace and hope you jam with Dio. Thanks both of you for so much amazing music.
Two legends here. (Lemmy and Lemmy's mustache)
yeah we do!
If you have to ask why Lemmy deserves a lifetime achievement award, you're in the wrong line of work.
Star-struck
@@inlakesh555 hes nothing but badluck
Exactly my thought lol. What a clown.
Thats what a journalist does you goof
@@HIGHWAYATMIDNIGHT you're an idiot
Saw Motorhead in the mid-2000s ? At the Temple Theater in Tacoma.
Saw Lemmy having a smoke on side of building... holy crap ! Was right after soundcheck, so I said, "There's a bar across the street. I'll buy you a Jack". Well, I bought nothing... and Lemmy bought SO many rounds for the entire bar that I don't think anyone made it to the show ! Damn, I've partied with some "famous" people before... but this was from about 5pm to way past 7pm. "I've got to play a show mate". He gave the bartender 5 $100 bills, "Keep one for yourself and keep pouring". And off he goes right across the street to play a great show. The Dude was fierce ! Miss ya, Lemmy.
TacomaPaul that’s insane! Fucking nice man
Lemmy is from my home city of Stoke-on-Trent born in one of its 5 towns called Burslem. The people from S-o-T are not particularly wealthy, the area known for its pottery which is sold the world over. However the people are the nicest, most down to earth, inoffensive people on the planet. I’m sure if you ever met another Stokie (affectionally known as) they would welcome you with open arms too.
2 of my favourite people and one spikey haired bellend.
@@mattw4291 he was born there but he wasn't raised there, he spent his youth in North Wales.
.
I like Lemmy didn't even talk to Jose he just talked to Dave the entire time
Jose couldn’t be Any Less of a tool. Seriously 🙄
Exactly can you say douchebag
Jose reminded him of Riki Rachtman. Another tool not worth talking directly to.
Who t f wants to talk with jose...
And good on him for it, that dude looks like the biggest chode in the universe
R.I.P Lemmy..you rocked the world for almost 50 years!
+RebelThoughts82 Almost? He was playing northern clubs from 1960...
+Richard Harrold Oh..I read that he got started in 1968.
RebelThoughts82
He was in the Singing Vickers (a pun on Vicars and the aircraft manufacturers) from '65, but he'd been in local bands for about 5 years. The stuff SVs recorded is so tame, it's unbelievable!
+Richard Harrold
Lemmy has spent a few years in other bands, but it was the 'Rocking Vicars' you meant.
There was also 'Opal Butterfly', 'Sam Gopal', Hawkwind (of course) amongst other short term, non recording outfits.
Some of these earlier offerings are somewhat different to what you'd expect from Lemmy, but it's all par for the course and well worth investigating to see what moulded this remarkable man. :-D
Matt Gibbons Was it Rocking? Either way, they used the "Vickers" spelling. He was in a few bands before that too.
Interview looked like such a poseur.
well he is.
Was gonna say that haha. Fucking hell, these days u can sniff them out thru a fucking video. Been around too long I think
Come on you Gunners!
He looked and sounded like he was trying too hard to fit in.
100% truth.
0:02 = Dave and Lemmys reaction's like " what the hell ? " lol
0:04 - Lemmy: "Wanker?"
Dave smiles in agreement...
Lemmy's so badass, he doesn't even have a last name, he's just Lemmy from Motorhead. God bless him!!!!!!!
'sfunny . I thought it was Kilmister
It is, but it’s unnecessary, you say lemmy, people know who you’re talkin about
@@ryangoodrow8829 Except for my then girlfriend's nephew, who thought I was talking about Lenny.... Kravitz. FFS.
He had a last name called Kilmister.
Ian Kilmister is his real or birth name. He got the nickname Lemmy when still a roadie, late 60's, and being short of cash since roadie's don't make much, he would ask other roadie's or friends "Can you lemme 10 dollars until I get paid again?" His slang for lend me was Lemmy.
"dave's been in bunch of different bands..."
I believe he’s been in 3
Nirvana
Foo Fighters
Scream
And Tenacious D
Jumbo Baggins/JelloGO also a
band called Scream
Them crooked vultures
Also played on the 2003 killing joke record

That interviewer made me cringe on more than one occasion. He makes it so awkward.
I'm noticing a trend in rock gigs and obnoxious interviewers making legends uncomfortable . . .
Is Jose's last name "Try Hard"?

R.I.P Lemmy. Born To Lose, Lived To Win.
I love how Lemmy just smiles every time Dave says something... That's friendship 😎👍
"I gave Lemmy the lifetime achievement award"
"Why?"
If he needs to ask that question he's in the wrong job.
With Lemmy-logic: "Because they asked him to" :D
He's asking for the audience you cabbages
Man I have see this shit a lot of times and it never gets old. The first seconds are PRICELESS!!! "REVOLVER TV IN YOUR FACE, MAN!!!" Lemmy´s face looking Dave and saying "what...?" Then at the end of the lame introduction, Lemmy laugh at Dave saying "yeah..." like "Yeah...its settled...this guy is an asshole"
Lemmy is the baddest mf ever
how the fuck does he do that ???!!!!
how the fuck does he do that ???!!!!
no one cares take drugs that would normally take down a hole village yet finish your game of Space invaders
@@sumeetagrawal9708
Well, he simply _is_ - or was during his physical existence on our tiny pale blue spot in the universe, for that matter.
Which means I'm certain that Lemmy will live on in many minds around the world well beyond his expiration date in December 2015 (i.e. for a long time). Because some people are just build to last, you know.
I genuinely miss Lemmy. I miss a man I never met, who wouldn't know me from a bar of soap. I've never been effected by the passing of someone I didn't know until now. I idolised that man for most of my life and he was a genuine legend. Thanks for all the music Lem.
It's crazy but I also miss him
@SuperTelecom
Be my guest, fellow Headbloke.
I was lucky to have a short chat with Lemmy once back in the early 1980ies at the Monsters of Rock festival in Germany.
He was one of the most approachable and at the same time no-nonsense blokes I ever met in the 48 years of my life, and there's just one thing I still do regret: I have a Motörhead tat on my left shoulder (an Ace of Spades with "Motörhead" above and "Born to Lose, Live to Win" below - the latter being the motto which not only helped me going through nurse school, but also winning my degree with full honours, by the way), and it would have been really grand to meet the guy again, having him put his signature below, and then having a tattoo artist ink it. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.
And yes, I do know that I could download a picture of Lemmys signature from Teh Interwebs and have it inked - but that just wouldn't be right, so it won't happen. But the tat I have is here to stay and shall ensure that I'll never forget the man, and all the blokes who were with him along the way.
A true English gentleman with his genuine Lemmy wit and humour.
At 0:07 Lemmy's face speaks a thousand words.
+Врач ред It speaks 3 words "What a knob."
"shut the fuck up...."
He was to cool for all that
@Christopher Rego UA-cam
Well, that may have been possible. But on the other hand, Lemmy being drunk as a lord _and_ high as a kite was _always_ more reasonable than others who never ever had a even drop of alcohol or a minuscule amount of any recreational drug in their vicinity for their whole life. So who the fuck cares (except maybe some hypocrites)?
@Christopher Rego UA-cam
Okay, so I'd say that means we're good because I don't have a problem with that either, my friend (a.k.a. stranger I'd have yet to meet).

Host: "Revolver TV in your face!"
*Lemmy and Dave looks at each other*
Dave: "wtf.."
Lemmy: "what an asshole"
Both: "Hahaha"
What's Lemmy doing right now? Being awesome.
***** What does my picture have to do with Lemmy being awesome? Might i ask?
Kathryn McLaughlin I'm not judging, I'm just explaining nor I said anything about your music taste so don't call me a twat. I listen to Motorhead, Ozzy, SOAD, Static-x, all punk rock and Oi! ever created etc. etc. so it's kinda similar. About bvb, I heard them and I think they're bunch of shit but no one should really care about anyone's opinion.
Sprytny Spawacz I didn't directly call you a twat, did I? Whatever, I'm done with this.
Ok, maybe it was me who misread that. At least it's good to see someone from Ireland listen to good music, seems like no one here in Monaghan does.
One good thing is that it's still possible to go hunt Lemmy Dragons around his castle online...
They are bad motherfuckers! Fun though :)
I still love how after the interveiwer says "REVOLVER TV IN YOUR FACE MAN" Dave and Lemmy look at eachother and Dave starts to crack up,.. and even Lemmy shows a bit of his smile... ahhh good times...
As soon as the interview fades out, Lemmy's probably like "Yeah, fuck off now!" to the interviewer.
Dont like how they talk over the head of Lemmy, ABOUT Lemmy?
What's the go with the hipster poseur interviewing them? I'd be fucking embarrassed if I were him.
"I gave him the lifetime achievement award"
"Why? Why?"
SON, I AM DISAPPOINT
Man that look they give each other at the start when the dude starts talking is fucking priceless
I love how Dave and Lemmy are laughing at the interviewer at the beginning, and rightly so. Who sat down wondering who to get to interview Dave and Lemmy and thought this guy was a good candidate?!
Let Lemmy talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeez!
+amsedelm right?!? like how many times he wanted to say something..... but no, hose's got it all written down, figured out...no place for sponaneity. after that "in your face" intro, makes me crack how Dave just stops chewing, moves his head sideways a tiny bit (like dogs do when they see weird shit) and then L&D just look each other... priceless
okay..action: "revolver tv, in your face man" hahah i laughed too. toooo gay
As a gay, that was very gay
"dave what's up with you brother?" -.-
I think the interviewer escaped from jersey shore
I love how 3 seconds into the video Lemmy and Dave look at eachother like "Wtf?"
@TheDriveMaster - so explain why Tony Iommi begged him to be on his solo album. Why Kim Thayil (a really skilled alternative guitarist, crossing your divide comprehensively!) was on the Probot album. Why the Led Zep guys love him and, when the possibility of a reunion came up, Dave was all but officially backup drummer if Jason Bonham didn't want to do it or whatever. Explain his very long friendship with the hugely skilled Josh Homme.
Lemmy is the only celebrity I cried over when they passed away! He was/is my hero & I still cry for him! Absolute legend! R.I.P. Lemmy I love you! ❤️
....Bowie and R.J. Dio
I cried for Dimebag, Ray Liotta and Rutger Hauer. The only 3 celebrities I shed a tear for. So far anyways.
I saw Motorhead with Slayer back in '88. My ears are still ringing, great night.
@Lefty003 Yep, hearing damage. Lemmy was great that night, they did a meet & greet before the show at a local record shop too.
I lol'd so much at the start when the douchebag interviewer said "in your face"
then Dave and Lemmy just looked at eachother like "Did...did he really just say that?"
Just watched Lemmy's memorial service live stream. It was a great tribute to a great Rocker !!!
R.I.P. LEMMY
I love Lemmy and Dave together, great combo!
Lemmy's the freakin man! RIP
Hahah I love the shared "What the fuck" stare they have when the douche starts talking.
Sad knowing he has cancer in this video but doesn't find out until it's too late.
Make sure you all get checked up. It's never too early but it can be too late.
I mean, this is more than five years before he died, we don't know when he first developed cancer...

Lemmy was such a thought provoking-nice and honest person
RIP Lem. Born to Lose, Live to Win!!!
It just goes to show what a great cat Lem was, that he didn't slap Jose in the face for being an over excited child on camera.
+Jesse Dillinger . You hit that shit on the head Jesse. Maybe it's the $9.95 Lemon Tree mohawk but I'm guessing the jerk- offiness is more than skin deep. I got a great Lem story I want to post here: Though the 1st time I saw Motorhead was in something like '82 at the NY Palladium on their 1st US tour and coincidentally, Eddie's last gig with the band, I first met Lem & his brother Ram at Lamour East, a Rock & Roll joint in Queens NY around '83 and hung with them all night til 5am. A little foggy on the finer details of the night, though remember clearly me & Lem playing Space Invaders for hours and doing bullets of crank, Lem always played with both hands on the machine and a Budweiser beer bottle hanging in his mouth the whole time so he could continuously hydrate and keep playing. Thirsty bloke he was. Anyway, Ram and I stayed in touch for another 10 years as pen pals (pre-email 80's ya know) and of course always saw Lem when Head was in town and could scare up some backstage credentials to share a beer or joint with him backstage and catch up. He was even cool enough to request my band, Falafel Mafia be on the bill with them at the Ritz-Studio 54 show sometime in the 90's. 1st "Rockstar" I ever hung out with and never knew a cooler, nicer more down to earth legend in my life. I am so sad for all of our loss but so grateful for everything you were to us Lemmy.
Dave is the happiest guy on the planet lol
Lemmy was so humble. RIP
Man I wish lemmy still wasnt "done yet".
1:08 Dave Grohl : Everyone loved motorhead.
Lemmy : Yeah I'm flattered..
I love how Dave ends up interviewing Lemmy more than the host.
So glad the one time I saw them was the original lineup with Fast Eddie and Filthy Animal. 1982. Absolutely the loudest concert I ever attended.
Leeds University union 1980 something, my tinnitus origin story.
King Lemmy forever.
Saludos de un Chileno metalero
RIP to a man that gave me hundreds of sleepless nights, a love for speed and of the thunderous shake Motörhead bring, especially to a small concert hall like Portsmouth Guildhall. He was a hero to me. I don't use that word lightly, he was a heroic figure.
Sorry Dave about losing way too many mate's in your life after being the most nicest bloke in rocknroll. Thanks for the tune's from you and the other you TH....sorry again mate. It's fucked
So many bands owe their existence to Motorhead/Lemmy its mind boggling.
There's no way that Jose could come off looking like anything other than a douche. Stupid hair aside, he has to go in there and talk to two of music's biggest rockers. I'd be intimidated to interview Lemmy in particular, as he always spoke his mind regardless of whether it was with you or against you. He was always polite (his son Paul noted that one of Lemmy's observations was that Manners Are Free), but if you got on his bad side, he'd let you know it. I love the man still and I would have been intimidated to interview him. And having Dave Grohl watching wouldn't make it any easier.
Grohl Everybody wants to be Lemmy"
Lemmy: (repeatedly) "NO. No. no they don't
Does he really not know what he is to the rest of us?! So humble.
Jose Mangin hosted a gig that a band I was in a few years ago played while on tour. He was supposed to say a few words at the beginning of the night and leave it at that. He proceeded to talk about NOTHING for at least 20 minutes, to the point where people were screaming for him to get off the fuckin stage and let the bands play. The guy just wouldn't shut the fuck up.
You cant begin! to estimate the influence and impact! Motorhead have had on the rock/thrash/grunge/metal world... R.I.P to a TRUE legend.
I love how lit up Dave is here. And you know he probably didn't have half the number of drinks Lemmy had. Meanwhile, Lemmy's low key working on a buzz.
Lemmy Is the greatest of all time, often imitated but he can never be duplicated
RIP LEMMY MOTÖRHEAD FOREVER
Sycophant city....speak fo yo self Grollo.Lemmy's more of a legend for the dude he is ,rather than the music; essentialy he's a one trick pony, who the fuck would want to own more than one M-Head album ? Wouldn't even download'm for fucking free. For his stuff with Hawkwind, the dude deserves a medal indeed.
Good to see Lemmy & Dave laughing in this guys’ face. Lmao
This interviewer tho lmaoooo cmon son smh 🤦🏼♂️
Rest In Peace Lemmy 💜🌹
A quick lesson here:
The Interviewer is trying to look and Sound cool but is not .
Lemmy :
Not trying to be cool but totaly is!
I bet Jose would love Riki Rachtman.
I find it interesting that Dave mentionned how he liked Vinny Appice. I always enjoyed his drumming too but rock fans don't talk a lot about him. His drumming on Mob Rules is pretty solid.
Is Dave gay? He's putting off a vibe.
why is he always dressing up as a woman in videoclips??
Yeahhh.
Why do you say that?
To which comment do you refer?
To your comment where you say that Grohl's putting a a gay vibe
Everytime I see Lemmy on a video, I still can't believe that he is gone. You are very much missed Lemmy R.I.P. and thanks for the great music you have left us, lucky the ones with you in heaven, as I'm sure that they are Rock and Roll partying with you every day. ROCK on You Rock Metal majesty.
Aw
Lemmy should get an award for just putting up with this yahoo
Dave is corporate spud wazz
Lemmy isn't thinking anything about the interviewer probably. He's used to this. He's been doing it for years. He's just a laid back Brit. Real nice guy under all the heavy metal grit. Sorry to break your rock 'n roll tough guy fantasies.
Dave and Lemmys Face in the first seconds...😂👌
Lemmy said good things about alchohol and speed (motorhead) and he has never convinced me. I drink, but I don't brag about it. He did.
every time i see that presenter/interviewer i just think a lot of people gonna hate, poor bloke just doing his job, trying his best.
I dont think the presenter knows that Lemmy fucking hates it when people says he plays metal he plays fucking rock and roll!
i luv that look at the start,, lemmy looking at dave like who is this guy
If the Beatles made another album it would sound like motorhead
I like that in ALL the Revolver interviews the most high-rated comments are about how crappy is the interviewer. XD
In the first 10 seconds I knew what Lemmy's opinion of the interviewer was.
Lemmy looks at Dave and says "who is this wanker?"
Lemmy is a fuckin legend. Stop complaining about the interviewer and show some respect to Lemmy and Dave.
God bless Lemy. Dave is genuine with it. Play the Game 😈🤠.
