The post win clarity realizing it wasnt as bad as you thought is so real lol, ive only been watching your ba content, but didn't realize I was missing out on your rest of your vids. Keep up the good work!
I just started playing Elden Ring recently since I noticed it was on sale a little while back, and one thing I've learned about this game is that I spend a lot of my time not fighting things and just ignoring them, going straight for boss rooms or treasure.
As you play more and more, you will very well get used to the input buffer and input lag. One thing to note too is that by doing certain actions before you in put your dodges (such as attacking and guarding) can really delay the actual dodge, causing you to get hit. Anyway, for you to beat Margit without going to get more talismans, gear and upgrades to your flask is truly a feat on it's own! Be proud of that! My tips I'll share this time is, if you like to use shields but the one you're using isn't cutting it, try out the Brass Shield. It comes with 100% Physical Damage negation, so you don't take chip damage from regular attacks. Another tip is to upgrade your weapon at the smithing table at the Church of Elleh (the church with the merchant and Tree Sentinel boss near the start of the game). You will see much bigger improvements in damage than just your stats. May your travels in the Lands Between be guided by Grace!
GGs on margit!! He's the first major skill check in the game so congrats. If you don't find yourself using your shield very often in boss fights you can put it away and two hand your sword and it will deal more damage. If you feel like you're not doing very much damage it could be because your weapon isn't upgraded enough. I believe the smithing table in the church of elleh caps out at +3, so you'll need to find a blacksmith to level up your weapons further; one can be found in the roundtable hold if you've unlocked that. It might be good to collect different types of weapons to see which ones you like the feel of more. You can always respec into different builds later in the game. Really enjoying the elden ring videos keep it up!
Nice work getting through Margit! I also had a rough time getting through him myself when I first played. I never had the input lag that your having though, hopefully you'll figure out whats causing it. If not well...atleast it'll make for some good content! 🤗
You're getting better and your fight with Margit wasn't bad! As for the weapons and builds it's mostly what feels more confortable for how you play (and stats obviously lol)
For the first timer, your fight with Margit is actually really good. Margit is known for delaying his attack/make his attack slower for some reason, so everyone has the same problem with Margit If you want to make your build stronger, i advise you to lvl up some Arcane (Arc) so the bleed could proc faster and stronger and try to search for a good talisman
Parring is the most optional skill in this game since you need to learn which attacks of each bosses can be parried, just stick to rolling. Other players often devote to strength or dexterity because it's easier to find weapon and deal higher damage. But no need to min max your build! You can also respec later into the game. My share of tips: weapons with longer reach is more comfortable, you can try the zwieldhandler, a colossal sword with amazing dex scaling, it's sold by a merchant to the very west of weeping peninsula. Otherwise, keep the uchigatana, it's very solid, bleed is powerful. I hope i got points across through my horrendous English, thank you for the video
input lag could be caused by high graphics that your pc couldn't handle. if that's not the case then it may be because of the animations of each action that you make. for example if you press attack, your character will have to finish the attack animation first before they can do another action like rolling or healing. that's why you must be mindful of how many times you're attacking the enemy before they're ready to unleash another attack.
I totally agree with the Inputs, biggest reason why i haven't played alot of Souls Games is because i heard the Inputs are just.. slow. Still want to play those games one day tho.. if i got the money xD
"It's the buttons" Yup, he's a natural edit: Honestly, getting Margit below 50% hp on your first attempts are solid especially for someone brand new. It'll throw its curve balls at you, but that's all it takes to beat the game. It'll grow and you'll grow along with it to tackle the BS. I'll always remember spending over an hour on the dark souls 3 tutorial boss

I was wondering my I had so many smithing stones but could only upgrade to +3. I think I have the roundtable unlocked so I'll try that, thanks :)

Ooooh I was wondering about that actually, I thought it maybe scaled with strength or something. Banger tip, thanks!
@@KubeShark you're welcome
Btw if you want a good talisman, try to search Radagon Soreseal

You have to focus on upgrading the wepon not the stats. (I made that same mistake too lmao)
Good shit
Whats the outro song dawg ik it so well but i dont know the damn name
Lalalatte by Tsundere Twintails
You had a shield, yet you didn't parry his attacks at all. Dude's the training dummy for parrying attacks.
i didn't think small circle was gonna counter big stick
@@KubeShark Doesn't matter. The game is stupid that way lol. The smaller the shield is, the bigger the parry window lol.
How long did the blue archive video take to make? Because I want to see it :))
last one took 5 days lol
@@KubeShark thanks man! Just keep it up!!!!! I will waiting for your video :))))
I cant see the video because i want to play Elden blind :'c
