Yeah, I use a d tap cable for the monitor time to time. Wanted to go for cleaner build for this video! Also, the sigma is very heavy ahaha. It was tilting because I put the plate near the back to give more balancing option on the tripod.
Hey @Matthew_Chung I have a question you sorta already answered, most D style top handles are like 150$, I love the idea of taking two cheap top handles(one smallrig one I have already) and making one large structural one. Can you link the adapter that you used to connect the two? I've been poking around but can't seem to find it anywhere, you mentioned the screw type in some other comments but I can't seem to find it, thanks! Great video man
@@Matthew_Chung Thanks bro, just screwed em together and wrapped them in tape? Very nice. Actually planning on starting up a channel soon, me and my cousin have been making videos for a long time together but I want to do some stuff on my own. Definitely considering making a video on designing a little 3d printed spacer to combine the 2 handles instead of buying a 300$ handle from B&H. I was planning on crediting you in the video and linking your channel but you all good if I do that? Your the only person I've seen do this(trust me i've looked)
does a matte box realy push the quality in any point? im realy not sure about it, serious question, i use my FX30 only in one and the same position and in the same studio. The key light is on the left side from the camera.
Matte box is nice when you want to stack filters. For example, you can stack a ndfilter with cpl to reduce reflections and glare to get those "netflix" quality car shots. In a locked environment, nd and matte box are not necessary. However, if you do have some lens flare or light strokes you want to remove, the matte box does help. Hope this answers!
Lovely compact build, but looks pretty front heavy. Maybe lose some weight from the front by dropping the monitor batteries and running off Dtap

Hope yall enjoyed this video! If you have, like, share, subscribe would be appreciated.
This is the hustlers rig man haha. Ive got basically the same thing for my s5IIx. Excellently done
@@e.adeloye Nice! Rigid Pro seems to be feeling in the gap nicely!
I love how your make it look like a cam-corder nice rig.
By the way i wanna see how you build a rig for Sony FX-3 on a DJI RS3/PRO.
@ElijBOYFilms thank you! I have a rs2 so might make a gimbal setup!
Can't wait to see it!

You can also use grids and other flags to reduce the light from flaring or if you have unwanted light leak.
What did you mount between the 95w battery and your camera? Also, where do you get that handle, thats awesome.
I took 2 nato rail handles from Magic rig, attached using 3/8 to 1/4 inch screw adapter! Thanks for watching!
It's called Cineback, from dslr video shooter
do you have issues with that monitor getting super hot?? mine gets so hot it's scary
@@umpopablebubble yeah mine got pretty hot so I sold it for a new one!
How do you like the Moman v mount battery? Have you tried other brands?
It's solid! It's not fancy, it doesn't have usb c or barrel jacks.
Small rig or Neewer makes solid v mounts with USB C PD!
Price is solid as well
what top handle are you using?
@@1imanni1 it's 2 nato rail handles from niceyrig/small rig. I have it attached with a 1/4 screw
Bad version of Rig, the camera outweighs the front and falls
@@EFM_Max_Production heavy lens 😉 no problem with manfrotto plate
