Very detailed and straight to the point. Extremely helpful for the DIY guys who just wanna see the repair. Not wasting time showing their family and dog and other BS 😂 This is a real repair video
So what was the problem with the sensor and what was the truck doing with the bad sensor? Mine it's hard to start sometimes but after it starts it runs fine.
Hi,I replaced my camshaf position sensor on my 2003 tahoe the same like you, I check volts in the conector ,its ok volts ,my trock still giving same codes, after replace the conector and still the codes,I think just do the same job removing intake again but I did just using my left hand in 10 minutes replace for a new one and still the codes. Camshaft position sensor hi and low. Can you help?
He's replacing the cam position sensor just like the video says. The sensor is at the back of the engine right where he took it out. I didn't take the intake off of mine to do this but it's definitely not at the front of the engine
Or just reach your hand behind the intake. Use a 10mm and extension and remove the bolt and pull the cam sensor out.

It would really be nice to show a truck running with a bad sensor before you change it so people can comparer their symptoms
You don't need to do all that. Just use a 10mm socket and extension and reach behind the intake I just changed an oil pressure sensor
Thank you guys
Thank you ! I fixed few cars with this videos !!
Talking about adding alot of extra steps. Reach back their with a 9inch extension universal and 10mm and remove it. Literally 5 min job.
How many times are they going to have him disconnect this intake? lol.
I put a new camshaft sensor on my 2002 chevrolet 5.3l and now it has problems starting and backfires, why is this happening?
Maybe need to relearn the sensor

So will that sensor leak oil down both side of engine??
what is the name of the little white tool used to remove the fuel line?
This is a great video in all aspects!! Thanks so much for such a great work!!!
What were the symptoms for needing to replace that sensor
Why would one of these have metal flakes on it near the oring upon removal?
Note what engine would be cool
Will a bad oring on these cause an oil leak?
Is there a censor on the bottom of the engine as well?
Yeah that’s the crank sensor
No relearning process?

Why are they taking all the parts off? Unnecessary
