Great setup with that reverse switch. I have the 12” rearview camera. I also installed two small cameras in the back/bottom of the front fender flares. I connected each one to their own 5” monitor. I have the monitors on the left and right side of the Inclinometer. Ran wires under wheel wells, into engine bay, through firewall, under dash then up from behind inclinometer. These cameras take away any blindspot and give me a better viewing degree than any mirror could. I really never turn my head with this setup. Be well.
This is nice. I installed one of those digital rearview mirrors, but I don't love that it gets in the way of the visors. I also really like the setup with the front camera you have. I could care less about the dash cam in the digital rearview, but would love to have a dedicated one setup with two cameras serving as trail cams if they had a decent viewing angle. A few questions: - What type of battery do you use for your setup? - The downward viewing angle on my rear camera is a little high, but that could be due to having the tire cover on there. How do you like your rear camera for reversing?
I have a yellowtop optima battery that came extra with my IS300, it has the necessary CCA for the FJ, so I have it in there. The IS300 will be getting an engine rebuild/upgrade and won't be driven for months while I'm doing that..all the more reason to use the battery in the FJ I like my rear camera, it faces down a little, but it mostly faces back. I will say, though, I don't have to be concerned about getting close to objects since my FJ came with the backup sensors, so it beeps when I'm close to something

Oh cool! I've been wanting to put side cameras on. I'm not sure where I would put the monitors where they are out of the way though

Mine does not, but my monitor can easily be set up to work as a front/rear dashcam
