I want to say thank you for producing this UA-cam. I needed to know how you remove the plastic trim pieces from beside the radio. I know I could have easily removed the screw and pried them out, but my experience with plastic part removal usually ends in one sort of disaster or another. Seeing you do it so dimly and deftly gave me exactly the confidence I needed. The little “tray/rail” I received slipped right into place and looks like it belongs there. Thanks again!
Do you have to use the Smartphone mirroring system with a 2008 FJ Cruiser for this setup to work? If so, I had trouble finding any mirroring kit that shows is compatible with the FJ.
Hi and thanks for the video. I just bought an FJ cruiser with a Pioneer AVH 2550 NEX unit. Is it possible to somehow tap into the existing Toyota rear view mirror back up camera feed and connect it to the pioneer unit? If so, do you sell the wiring that would be needed and instructions on how to do the install? Thanks
@@BeatSonicUS so you connect the rear view camera hot wire to backup light and then you also run the reverse signal wire to the taillight hot wire as well to make it work?
Hey, do you guys sell the complete READY harness for the 2013 fj cruiser with jbl amplifier interface and steering wheel control interface? If yes please share the link with me. I want to install pioneer dmh-w2770nex that I just bought. I would really appreciate it. Thanks
To me mirroring is a bad choice, as that radio comes with Apple CarPlay which is a far superior option unless i'm misunderstanding how something works.
You did a fantastic job on my Lexus RC. I can’t thank you enough .
Our pleasure!

You will need an aftermarket radio that support video input to mirror your phone.

Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately we don’t have that solution. Sorry about that!
Can you advise which mirror kit was used? There are several on website. Also is any extra equipment needed to connect to subwoofer? Thanks.
For aftermarket radio you need just an hdmi to rca adapter. To connect a subwoofer you will need another amplifier
Trying to play videos on mines. Mirroring, how do you do so?
Can you give me the list of accesories I should buy from you to install this stereo in a 2008 FJ cruiser?
You can get them at crutchfield.com
Thank you for the video. Is there a way to connect the usb cable to the cigarette lighter?
Yes you can with an adapter
how does the stereo system know when you're putting the car in reverse to activate the back up camera?
From the reverse trigger via rear backup light

Yes

Please contact the steering wheel control brand as they can assist you
Everything works now!!
Nice detailed video. What is the approximate labor cost to have an install like this done?
Depends on the shop, but typically about 3 hours of labor

Unfortunately we don’t. We only haven’t BH1 6/10 pin harness
So that radio fits without any mods? Because it's 6.8 inches instead of 6.2!
6.8 and 6.2 screens radios both carries the same double din size of 4x7 as such both will fit without any modifications
So where the cables for a subwoofer would go?
If you would like to connect a sub, it would go from the rca jacks behind the radio, then to an amplifier, then to the subwoofers
Does this setup support the JBL subwoofer?
Yes you can connect the JBL subwoofer to the new radio via new amp
@@BeatSonicUS will that require a new speaker system with the new amp?
Where are you at? I in NC install one for me
Please email us your location and we can find you a nearest installer info@beatsonicusa.com
Drill bit, but no free drill?
Yep
How did you get your camera to work I tried one and it didn’t work because it’s encrypted only for the pioneer camera which is lame

@@BeatSonicUS I went to the website and there’s no showing of that camera can you please link me that exact camera thank you

It all depends on individual preference
