- In this video, I'll show you how I created the thumbnail for this video in less than 5 minutes, without photoshop.

I use Canva Pro for all of my thumbnails, too. I just set up a template to create different versions like you eluded to in this video. Also, the Glow effect is a super easy way to get a white outline around your picture or other objects to make them pop from the background. Great video, Pat. Thanks for always keeping us informed!
I love Canva's ease and simplicity. I use it all the time for my video thumbnails as well

Canva is amazing because you'll retain the fidelity of your orig photo, which is unlike the free bkgrnd removers which only output a lo-res file

You may want to update this video? Canva has moved a few things. It took me a while to find what I needed to select, but your video helped me create my first lesson thumbnail for my class. 🙂

Thanks for the tutorial! Small tip, you can start with the thumbnail template than add your image and remove bg. A bit faster imo.
I don't comment on these often but I thought of this as I watched. Correct, you can simply drag the full original image and then click on the image, then effect, and then BG remover once it is on top of the template/graphic design background. Saves the redownload, save, and reimport step.
I've been using inkscape to remove backgrounds for free. There are oodles of tutorials for how to do it as well. Just a tip for those like me 😊

That’s my debate are those 3 with my Mac equipment 🤔 I. Also wanted to console stream so trying to decide the best ease of use out of those 3 have been hard. Thanks man!

You thumbnails as always rock my friend. Still plugging and chugging at doing a channel based on Thumbnails only. Great tools introduced. Was your CANVA thumbnail that you used also a CANVA PRO Thumbnail Template?
Thanks for that, and the thumbnail was a part of the search template gallery, I don't believe that to be just PRO only, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hey pat. Quick question, which streaming platform would you recommend best to stream on UA-cam?
I've used Ecamm LIVE for over 4 years now. Love it a ton because it's easy! Other than that, StreamYard, or even OBS work well too.

Why do that? All I do is that whenever a person sends me their photo and they’re facing the wrong way, just use the mirror and turn it the first way. You only needed to do it once and then use the mirror.

Yeahh topic is meme faces but I'm not trolling, these are genuine questions.
People connect with Faces and we are wired to stop to look at them, I think it requires balance for sure and depends on your niche and the topic
@@patflynn Then it means it's mostly A psychological trigger rather than a trick on the UA-cam algorithm... (I think this could be further be tested)

Canva - putting thumbnail designers out of business since 2013. This is the sad part of our current economy. For every tool like this out there, a multitude of people that suffer as a result of losing work. Eventually, even UA-camrs will be replaced by AI tubers.
