This is awesome! I couldn't get it to work in Photoshop (I couldn't get the option to detach the image in Canva), but it works like a charm using photopea.

When I click the delete -- it deletes...there is no option for frame vs image -- any ideas?? @@c.u.online
Try to right click on the image and hit detach image. This works too :)

Hi Christina. Thanks for this great video. I couldn't get my saved image from Canva to show up in PhotoPea. I watched your video several times and followed your steps. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone give any advice?
Great video! The only problem is Canva does not accept the upload of the psd file at the end. Is that a feature for Canva Pro only? From my search it seems that Canva does not support thar type of files 🤯
I love the way you share knowledge, super easy to follow with out all the extra stuff! Question about this process, I seem to only be able to make a frame using canva elements. I have tried to import kittle pngs and svgs and the photopea process does not work:(. Is there an extra step or can it not be done outside canva?
Weird workaround but try bringing your kittl file into canva and re-saving it! I was able to use photos and things brought from other places but I brought them to canva first and re-saved

This was a great video. I'm curious as to the legality of selling frames. I see tons of frames for alphabets in different font styles. Did people just use a font someone else created and turn them into frames to sell. Or did they have to design the actual font and then make it a frame? And with clipart from places like Canva and Creative Fabrica, does going through the process of making the svg into a frame now mean it is materially changed to the point where the person who changed it has the right to sell it?
Hello everyone! I have the same doubt. Also someone knows how this work? I have used free canva elements-graphics and turned them into frames. but I am not sure if I am allowed to sell them like this on Etsy. Even if they are free graphics still breaks canvas policy? It worked for me! Thank you. I found that I can’t do it with images that don’t let you change the colors in Canva and photos. When I brought them into Photopea, it was just blank. Is there a work around for that? Like with the pic of the dog you had in the beginning?

Thanks so much for this video, can you tell me how to make a frame outline around an existing frame...such as a stroke or offset to make the outline work as the frame to change its effect too?
Rebring your file into canva as a PNG, then use "shadows" "outline"

I love your tutorial, but I still can't delete image from frame in Canva. I've run into a problem at every step. From android with Photopea app (the app isn't good on the phone)
This is fine for mugs too and pillows . Sadly etsy became problematic .I am looking for other etsy which support mugs pollows and curtains

This is a great video but I have a question, why is it when I click clipping mask the image disappears?
Love this but it didn't work for me. When I brought my PSD file into Canva and went to Delete it did not give me the option of frame or image. Please help. I followed your instructions exactly but I used Photoshop instead of Photopea.
Im not sure if photoshop maybe saves them differently! it should work the same but seems a few people in the comments cant get it done with photoshop. Id give it a try with photopea!
Or from photoshop TRY saving as a PDF (I had seem this when I was learning but i dont have photoshop myself to try it out)

I don't have the possibility to open an Etsy shop in my country...
You might be able to on places like creative fabrica and im sure theres others out there that I cant think of right now, but I'd just read their terms and make sure you can attach and sell the right file type

I am having problems, sometimes getting the image to actually upload to photopea. I have gotten it to work a couple times but anymore when I open from computer it’s blank.

Have you noticed any limitations in PhotoPea compared to photoshop? Thinking of making the switch.
I like photopea cause its free! it doesnt get all the new updates like AI as photoshop, but it has all its older basics!

Do a right click on the image and hit "detach image". This worked for me too :)
It works great with vector images but can I do this with a normal picture? For example you mentioned removing the background on the dog and use that as a shape.
yes you can use it on anything thats a shape!
How did I not know this? I have Canva’s premium subscription and never knew this and also have creative fabrica’s subscription and have so many images I can use

Try right clicking on the photo and see if the delete option comes up! It won’t work if you do this on photoshop just photopea
This was great thank you but no matter what I tried it would not work for text. Can you please do a tutorial on how to make it work for text. I created a word and downloaded it as a SVG file and it would not recognize it in photopea it seems to recognise it as a font and not an image even though it is a png file. What sort of file do you save text as to get to to work in PhotoShop or Photopea please?
I tried downloading the text as an image and then removing the background and turning it into a SVG like the other images [that work perfectly]. But did not matter how I uploaded the text file it would not work. And when it did work, when you went to delete it, it did not recognise the clipping mask and deleted the whole thing. There was no option to delete the background. So the font must have to be turned into a specific file type before uploading to Canva and turning into a SVG file. Any tips please?
I tried doing texts and it worked out for me. I download it as an SVG, and then Merge the layers, so it becomes one image layer. Open and place the image, so clipping mask and then save as PSD.
IT WORKED! Sorry it must have been glitching yesterday thanks so much. I spent ages trying to get it to work. I wonder if it was the type of font who knows but it worked thanks so much.@@c.u.online

do you have a video explaining the etsy labels, does it lowers considerably the shippings fees? i have been looking for it but i dont wanna f up lol
I use printify to ship my products since i do print on demand so I dont get my own labels
