Just because they SAY that they tried to deliver it, does by no means actually MEAN they tried. That would at least require ringing your door bell. Some delivery people are good at their job, others aren't. I notice right away whether one of our 'usual' people did the delivery or someone who is only a substitute. Their service is often underwhelming. In case you're not aware: If it's a big parcel (Paket), you can request a second attempt for delivery. If you can't collect the heavy thing by yourself due to lack of transportation, this can be helpful. This option does only work for 'Paket' & NOT for 'Päckchen' (the smaller parcels).
Ohh I didn't know that we could request another attempt for delivery. The parcels were quite heavy but luckily there is good public transportation here, but would have preferred a delivery tho. Thanks for the info! ✌️
After having worked at an airport for more than a year, I can confidentially surmise the reason for customs there to hold the consignment that your parents shipped from India; might've been due to incomplete declaration of all the items in that 📦 . Customs in Europe tend to stricter than any other continent. No confiscated goods can evade from getting levied. It's just what I've observed from their perspective 😅.
I have received parcels twice from Chennai. First time from private courier company Garuda Vega. It came via Chennai-> UK -> Netherlands -> Bremen but didn’t pay any custom duty and also didn’t know who delivered it cause I got it from neighbour. But second time courier through india post, so DHL delivered and was asked €16 as custom duty. Weird scenes and don’t understand how these processes work. Amazing video Aditya❤️❤️
Do we need to send the documents via courier after applying at TU Darmstadt? Also, are the translations required even if my certificate are in English?
Yeah you have to send the docs via courier, it will be mentioned in the tucan portal which docs to be sent and the address, translation is not required for English documents, but they must be notarized
