      Our viewers are so observant!
      The correct answer: The steering knuckle is not jacked up at 3:00

      @@autodocuk So how is it supposed to look or be done? How is it to be jacked up, am I going to cause damage by not "jacking it up"? Please explain.

      Wrong torque for hub bolts, instead of 71nm should be 90nm + 45degrees.
      Driveshaft nut should be tightened 150nm -45degrees then 250nm

    By far, the best walk throughs on UA-cam. No cut corners atall.. This made it easy for me to follow along and do it myself.

    Is it enough torque the driveshatf nut to 165nm? 7:30 Somewhere i heard the factory manuals are, 150nm then 45degrees and 250nm. So which one is correct?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  Рік тому +1

      The correct moment value is 250 nm.

    Hello everyone. Can someone tell me what the wire coming out of the bearing is for? I assume that it is some kind of sensor, but for what?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  Рік тому

      In this case, it is the wire from the ABS sensor.

    Incorrect method of replacement. The steering spindle did not need to be removed from the strut. Invest in proper tools to do the job properly without unnecessary steps.

      Well, sometimes it helps to have less stuff in the way, even if it is unnecessary to move that stuff out of the way.

      @@ridds777 exactly.. sometimes it's just smarter to remove some stuff out of the way, if possible. Not too much, obviously.. I work on my own car, as I have enough knowledge, I got a vocational education on this stuff. I'm not saying that I'm the best mechanic, but I do know stuff.

      @Strange_92 removal of unnecessary parts is a waste of time. If your time is not valuable to you, then that's on you...

      @Strange_92 Рік тому

      @@ridds777 depends on what you remove.. and when I'm working on my own car, I'm not doing it on such a hurry. Not too slow either...
