The biggest crime in music in the last couple decades is that this dude isn't performing his songs with a band of his own. New Radicals had so much promise.
@@jaggass I just wish we would get albums from him specifically. Like how the Beatles stopped doing live. But Gregg also didn't really decide it was the fame he didn't like it was how the music industry was before you could really be independent in the main stream.

He is not big on fame or anything like that; that's the reason he got out of New Radicals right before they got big. He might do a free album on Spotify or something... maybe. If enough interest is shown.
Every time I hear him sing the bridge and the chorus, my eyes well up. He has such a vulnerable, emotional and powerful voice. May the universe always be kind to Gregg.
When the New Radicals released their CD in 1998 I was 24 and Gregg Alexander sings with such passion, he can make anyone teary eyed when his tone is combined with his lyrics. He has such a gift that select few in the music industry have. This song shows he's still got it. I've read he is fed up (rightfully so) with the industry and I hope to see more videos from him.
To think he gave us that one album with some fantastic songs on and then he disappeared and all this time we've been missing THAT voice! It's just not fair lol. Wow he's a legend this man.
@greggalexander Right before my dad left this earth he was telling me I had to listen to "You Only Get What You Give" Said it had a great message and I needed to hear it. Well he passed and then the song blew up on the radio, video, etc. I view it as message from him threw you and I thank you. It's true, in life you get what you put in and music saves and heals.
